Gorilla Z Auto (AutoPot vs Alien Hydro EasyFeed)

This is my 2nd ever run. First run was a shitshow.
Gear:
FastBuds Gorilla Z Auto (4)
5x5 ACI tent
GML Borg V3
Athena nutes
2 autopots 5 gal fabric
2 Alien Hydro EasyFeed 22L fabric

  1. Soaked seeds in a 1% hydrogen peroxide solution for 12 hours.
  2. Placed seeds in paper towel sprayed with a silica solution. Put them in a ziplock and taped it to my heat mat hanging vertical to keep the root from growing into the paper towel.
  3. Left them for 60 hours due to schedule and planted in solo

Welcome! This might be a helpful tip, autos flower when stressed. The most common thing is their roots running out of space. Don’t leave your seedlings in the solo cups very long, or they will flower early. Planting directly into the permanent pot seems to do better from my research.

Good luck

out of likes but hes right direct sowing is best with autos if unwilling to direct sow you should germ in rapid rooter or similar medium then transfer the soak paper towel then to solo is shocking your autos multiple times slowing there growth and wasting your seedlings energy everytime. just trying to explain why the above advice is crucial for autos not trying to assume you dont know. now you know so if this run goes south drop those seeds straight in the solo cup or start in rapid rooter for even easier transfer with no shock. the 1 percent h2o2 perfect move. using the 1% to wet the rapid rooters is perfect for germination and sanitizing the medium for worm larva. your not far off from a germination station with what you already use just sow in rapid rooters then ziplock the bag and use yur mat crack the seal if yur gonna keep rolling with 60 hours. now you dont need luck just trust me/us.

I appreciate the advice. I was still trying to see what the first run in my 5x5 was going to do, so I didnt have room. I got them all transferred now and looking okay.

Kept the plants in a solo cup until day 10, then transferred into their pots. #4 had helmet head and was the smallest. As you can see from the photos it has caught up to the others.
There is some discoloration of the leaves around the edges, which, I believe, is from me underfeeding in an effort not to overwater like I did in the first run.

Once transplanted

And we got them into the 5x5 uner the Borg. Forgot to mention, I’m using Promix Coco/Perlite 70/30. Feeding Athena at 2.1 EC. PAR around 450. I opened the valve to test the systems, but have continued to top feed.

Day 21 - End of Week 3

I started LST on day 18 on a couple of the plants and the others today. Removed and tucked a couple leaves that were blocking lower leave. These things grow big fan leaves.
I have still been top feeding, and will start the bottom feeding soon.

Light spectrum is set to 100% Cool white; 55% warm white; 0% red; 0% far red 900W. PAR around 450. EC 2.1. Temp 75-80; RH 65-70.
