Gramps Out Door Garden

@gramps Great plants!
How’d your Romulan turn out last year?

Killer real airy buds but potent not much bag appeal but great smoke .

Heavy watering and fertilizer today 1 1/2 tbsp 16 -16 -16 and shell flower 6 tbsp for the blue Dream and Vanilla Frosting . The Banana Mango is way ahead on budding so 1 1/2 tbsp of 4 - 26 - 26 and shell flower . I had my first fatality one of the Vanilla Frosting was broken in half . I wired the damaged area but don’t look good some animal might have caused the breakage ? no big deal might save a lot of water .

I’ve noticed that airy buds hit differently, in a very good way.

All the fans yellowed and fell off so just the airy buds nothing to trim :sunglasses:

It’s so weird this year around my parts. We were at 58º this morning and it rained all night. It’s baking hot all around us. I won’t complain, but it’s nowhere close to normal.

High thin clouds let it cool a little and I adjusted the trellis netting I don’t like working from a ladder . Maybe I’ll top my plants next season try for a giant hedge of tops . Running out of flower formula so I bought a bag of Mendocino 6 - 30 -30 to try same company as my other fertilizers . 25 pound bag was $65 bucks I think I paid $40 two years ago on sale . Ran out of trellis netting another 100 bucks 6’ 1/2 x 1000’ feet thinking of next season lol hobbies cost $ .

Choking smoke from all the fires seems to be a little better today it was blocking the sun yesterday the good thing it was cooler . Heavy watering today less evaporation loss with all the smoke the girls don’t care I can hear them saying feed me lol . The Banana Mango is stacking fast maybe an early finish ? sunglasses to show massive stalk . The Blue Dream are budding but behind a couple of weeks most likely won’t finish until October some time . Both of these strains are over nine feet and spreading its early in the outdoor season plenty of time to bulk up . I’m still using the sea grow formula until I run out 16 - 16 - 16

and 4 - 26 - 26 on the Banana Mango

We had most of a week of smoke haze. I haven’t heard of any Colorado fires so it must be from Cal/OR. It comes and goes here. Hope the rain comes soon.

I like those limbs that grow out from the plant at ground level. They usually will grow almost as tall as the other limbs and I’ve had a couple the looked just like a separate plant. peace

I’ve been super busy the past 3 months with work. Your Garden is looking great. To bad you can trade a branch or two for some supplies for next year: a roll of netting, a few bags of fertilizer.

Hey bro, did you ever grow those Vanilla Frosting beans we split? I was so busy that the outdoor thing for me stayed somewhat subdued. I haven’t popped mine yet. I need to.

No, I haven’t. I got pretty set back what about 3 years ago with a hemp grow, spent a lot of money and got paid for about 1/3 of the crop. So I haven’t been growing at the farm. It’s kind of sad.

Ouch, yeah, the last two years sort of sucked for me as well, regarding income. I hope it picks back up for you. You guys in a drought? You have fires all over, too. don’t you. Damn. Prayers and vibes sent bro. peace

Well, i guess it was a matter of time, and I consider us lucky to this point, but damn, that smoke is here. Maybe a 2-3 mile visibility. My throat is sore from fishing for a couple of hours at the lake. I think we’re under a High, too, which means it may not move from here for a while. I guess the only thing to do is plant more seeds and grow more trees! Our Earth needs us! :face_with_raised_eyebrow: :herb: :evergreen_tree: :evergreen_tree: :deciduous_tree: :evergreen_tree: :herb: Mine just happen to all be cannabis seeds.

The smoke lifted a little here and we have a gentle breeze I can still see it but the choking smell is gone for now .

Yeah, that, that choking smell… that’s here now. heh This is the first day this bad this whole year. It’s been shooting north of us before going east. No today. I feel for you if it’s like this every day. Last time I lived in a lot of smoke was during the 6 month old Yellowstone fires in the 80’s. I was living just 50 miles north and I was a surveyor and we were sort of close on one of our large projects.

I’m done with the 16 - 16 - 16 on the Blue Dream and Vanilla Frosting and I have a little 4 - 26 - 26 that I’m using on the Banana Mango . The Mango is going crazy since I switched to the bloom bag :astonished:P8102188 P8102186
