Holy sh!t, @gramps! That might be shaping up to be the largest cola in recorded history!
@Purple-N-Hairy lmfaoo no kidding!! At first I thought it was a completely different plant that was hiding behind that one never seen a 2 foot wide bud before, shit is massive!
Lol that top has company that’s a bunch of tops growing in a bunch the weight will make them spread ? I tried to count the tops on the whole plant around a 100 give or take . A bunch of foot longs already trim hell on the way
Power outage again second time this week I’m on wells so generator time . I was able to water the garden and the girls they all got a dose of 4 - 26 - 26 Sea Grow one and a half tablespoons. Man they must grow at night big changes overnight also I’ll use the 4 - 26 - 26 until I run out a couple more feedings before I switch to the Mendocino 6 - 30 - 30 flower and bloom . 1 1/2 tablespoons in 30 gals of water per plant every second watering is like micro dosing these fat girls .
My next experiment same dosage 1 1/2 tablespoons second watering so every two days I water every morning during these heat waves 100 degrees F plus just a slight droop on the Blue Dream it was hot all night and a little smoke . And the power is back on
seems we all have the same issues no matter where we are. We have massive power cuts and substations exploding all the time … one of the reasons I decided to not run indoors
Wow, I’m surprised at how brutal it became this year. It seems very global now. I saw that Greece is burning, too.
The crazy thing for me is that my little corner of the world has been mostly mild with very cool nights to cool off from the heat. We seem to not be going above 90 much this year and we have gotten a little rain every week. It’s close to 90 now but supposed to rain this afternoon.
The smoke has cleared out more today since we got back to SW winds. It’s brutal all around us but mostly not bad here this year. Normally we would be in drought with high winds and low humidity. Thank God we got a break this year.
Wawawaow
@gramps you da man!!!
Master at work
Peace
The beneficial insects are not keeping up with the aphids so out comes the Doctor Zymes . I’ll spray tonight It’s mostly the Banana Mango with the problem its worked before and I have a little left . Smoky again hazy sun and stinky I don’t see any damage but there’s plenty of Aphids the girls are in full bloom so I need to be careful with what I use . I started the new bloom and flower 6 - 30 - 30 formula today maybe the aphids won’t like the taste lol . A bowl of Romulan then me and the pump sprayer went to work this evening . Good breeze to clear the smoke and wow some almost fresh air and blue sky .
I’m going to spray again this evening these plants are so thick it will take a number of applications to get ahead . One night of clear sky and this is my morning view . A new fire thousands of acres already and homes lost .
Damn, that’s a bad day when the early morning clouds are a 30,000 foot tall smoke plume.
Most of our smoke blew out for a few days but it’s back today. Here’s to geting real rain clouds that will slowly put them all out in the west. We’re starting a long dry spell here according to the weather forecast. We’ve been real lucky this year, but it ain’t over.
Yesterday was a weird yellow day sun smoke till early afternoon . Felt like you were wearing yellow sun glasses .
Fire still growing thousands evacuated real smoky all day sun hidden in the smoke . Light ash on the girls I sprayed the Blue Dream tonight not as many aphids . The mango still have a few but the hordes are gone maybe the smoke will kill the bastards .
Stay safe and the redwoods, I mean plants, look marvelous.
That’s crazy… stay safe bruv
light ash still falling but what a drop in temps 68 F degrees this morning hasn’t been this cool in awhile . A week latter on this bud filling out fast Banana Mango .P8102188|666x375
Here the same bud a week ago
Banana Mango Getting very thick, several weeks to go yet, awesome looking plant.
Hope your property stays in the clear from the fire storm.
Sending up prayers for all those in the danger zone.
Stay safe!!
Grace and Peace, G
If you have falling ash building up on the leaves and buds, spraying them with a gentle “shower” setting from a hose sprayer works quite well to wash away the soot and debris.
If you do this, just make sure to do it on a day when there is enough wind to dry the plants out after you soak them. I haven’t had any problems using this method to wash the ashes off while the plants are still growing.
This has been the norm around here for years not sticking it’s real light and the wind has been cleaning it off somewhat . I’m spraying Doctor Zymes so no hosing until every last aphid is dead .
