What’s your spreadsheet numbers for the 1.4 ec ?
Oh yeah…The past 4 days they were only getting fed once a day!
Normally feed them twice to runoff.
And…they are in Promix HP.
When I get that issue it’s normally a trace minerals of some sort
Any chance the high Calcium is locking out another micro?
I’m with @anon20530495 that calcium seams high , so does the n , I’m at 85/90 in n for flower up to week 8 then it’s even less after that for the finish , it’s tuff balancing feed for soil and coco at same time , I wouldn’t attempt it , but you have pulled it off : ) having lost a lot of leafs to the PM controll you parameters of feeding became a lot narrower as less leafs to help buffer what’s extra and what’s not etc , so remaining leafs show some wear and tear due to being a lot less
The N to P ratio also seems too high for flowering here; I’d add less of the calcium or more of the Part A to get it more square looking.
I think you guys nailed it. @low_and_slow @anon20530495 @Papalag @ifish It’s gotta be the Ca antagonizing.
This run I decided to follow Jacks feed schedule. But I do have Ca higher. In the past I have always lowered Ca and N during later flower.
Grow and learn. Really appreciate the help and feedback.
Everything is ready to harvest.
Next grow I will do things different.
Boom
@low_and_slow @ifish how did you guys come up with these ratios. In coco I’ve read that mg and ca should be 1:2. I’m curious as how you guys have all other ratios.
I noticed today my BM is do the same rust spots
I don’t use cal mag in the end stages I do feel it’s more of a mineral deficiency of some sort when it happens in early flowering I add earth juice microblast ( trace minerals) it stops it quickly
I just chopped the shorter of the 2 and I do feel the shorter is frostier then the other
But the HBXGB beats them all
Hiya Gram, your grow is looking good as always! I’m using a bit less calnit from Jack’s 321 ratios lately too, but I’m keeping the N about the same with some added soy hydrolysate. Sucks when you get an issue like this with a plant so mature because it’s hard to tell if you’re helping or making it worse. What are you washing your buds with? Just h202? They look great!
Thanks Ru. Good to hear from ya.
Maaan. I’m so so ready for it to be over and done with.
Based on all my past grows, this one was a loser. I goofed things up from the very start.
Probably tossing 3 of the 6.
I’m going to do the triple wash of shame.
- Baking soda
- H2o2 + lemon juice
- Rinse
- Short Fan dry
- Normal dry
Thankfully the 2 Green Ale had very little PM. They are the healthiest and sticky stankiest of the grow.
Horrible harvest timing.
Recovering from hernia surgery. Waaah. Lol
Doing trim jail when I can.
My bro is bringing me one of those big hanging drying rack dealios. Should be helpful.
Surprise surprise
In the HBGB. @Papalag
Had some herms.
Hope you have a speedy recovery. Careful doing those heavy deadlifts
Have you washed in the past when you didn’t have PM, or is the washing simply a mitigation technique? I’ve noticed some wash indoor, but I’m not quite sure I see the purpose if there aren’t issues. Maybe a chance for me to learn something here.
@TreeTops I’ve washed both outdoor and indoor. Only once for PM in the past.
I recommend everyone do a test wash using only a small amount of bud. Inspect the results and compare to non washed.
Have you noticed a difference in affect with washed vs. unwashed w/ indoor?
Mostly mental.
It amazed me all the “crap” that washed out of my weed and ended up in the wash water.
And I run a scrubber with sock! The sock gets filthy dirty by the end of a run.
I’ve noticed a tiny residue on some of my last crop that is left on my fingers after breaking some up. Unable to tell if it’s just dirt from letting the soil dry and having fans blowing at a high clip, or if it’s carbon (I run a scrubber with a filter on it too). Smokes fine, tastes fine, seems fine, and is almost unnoticeable unless you pay attention, but it’s what precipitated my question.
