Im using Megacrop 1 part, and I was wondering, How much do I use going into flower? The package says 6g per gallon but that does not seem to be enough as im getting light lime green from the stems out on the leaves. What Dosage is everyone using for flowering?

I run 1 part around 1.4- 1.5ec in mid-to late flower. I’d just bump up your feed a bit at a time, til they either green up, or fry, lol!

LOL that is one way to do it, GROW OR FRY!

Good answer! Love seeing manufacturers give that sort of detail

Yes, I use the one part. I use two teaspoons per gallon of water and nothing else added.
Thank you for the compliment.

2 teaspoon per gallon holy cow I’ve been using 1/2 teaspoon. Do you run 2 teaspoons from veg to harvest? I also got the sweet candy bloom booster 0-35-35.

Yes I do. Your mileage may vary.

Out of curiosity what’s the saturation limit of Part A of the 2-part? Can I get away with 200g into 1L for a stock solution?

Also, did you guys get rid of the EC calculator? I can’t seem to find it anymore but could have sworn I remember it existing at some point.

Did you find it?

(You can also add it to hydro buddy and use that, if you want).

Oh shoot, you said EC not elemental ppm calculator.

Find what?

What the saturation point was? I haven’t. I calibrated my 1L bottles I’ll find out in the morning. The main ingredients (MKP 250g/L, KNO3 316g/L) are going to be well below the 20C solubility limits so I assume my 1g/5mL solution will be fine. I’ll post when I do it whether it works or not :+1:

The EC? I thought the calculator used to provide an EC computation as well as the elemental PPM. Coulda sworn.

Edit: Maybe it’s time to check out hydro buddy. I’ve been using my homemade calculator that I used for computing my soil amendments last year. I modified a sheet for hydro but it’s limited to elemental ppm. Good idea :bulb:

Find the MC calculator.

Yea, hydro buddy is really good. Very easy to add new things, individual salts, or any product really. I’m getting pretty decent with it and can try to answer any questions and get you started with it.
I wonder if I (or @lefthandseeds, etc.) can share databases (I have some products added).

I used to use @Renfro’s nutrient calculator (spreadsheet) which was great.

But yea, hydro buddy is what I use now.

200g per L dissolves at 20C completely, although the white flecks took 30 minutes to dissolve. I think these proportions are a good balance for my uses.

@Nitt don’t worry you’ll be the first person I bother with questions about HydroBuddy :sunglasses:

Daniel has mentioned 200x concentration being safe, and likely up to 250x I think.

hi, the 2 Part is designed for super concentrated feeding programs if needed. We have tested at 120x strength and its 100% soluble. This would be equivalent to 0.8% solution which would be about 200g per Liter. So yeah that should be really doable!

the Mega Crop 1 part has an EC Calculator. The 2 Part is not really feasible because it requires separate parts so baseline EC doesn’t make sense since it would be additive EC.
