Greenpoint Seeds

Sorry I should have stated im the one who makes all the seeds for Greenpoint and I recognized some of the names in the last few pages from other forums as we have a bit of history. I can promise you I’m only here with a good vibe and to answer any questions anyone might have.
Someone from another forum pointed me in this direction and it looked like a pretty cool community to take part in. I was just clearing a couple things up.

Read, up above, from when Gu jumped in to get an idea of the forum expectations as a community member.

Read the site TOS and the FAQ.

Coming here to ‘clear things up’ is the wrong reason to be here. ‘I can promise you I’m only here with a good vibe’ is a better reason.

edit: GPS needs to address the dox threat, as well. PM sent.

Wow, what the heck-

Does this really represent our OG values???

Hey man… I’d like to think that’s not the vibe that us OGers wanna welcome anyone with, regardless of your opinion of them. Let’s keep this civil
Edit: looks like the comment this was a response to got deleted. Thank god lol

Can everyone step away from the keyboard and take a breath???

Right! Im not sure how that was warranted.

I don’t think @monkeyman was trying to claim that that photo was a GPS plant; the 420Magazine logo is obvious. It was meant to highlight the fact that a lot of people have had GPS plants herm on them. It was a joke. I laughed when I saw it, anyway.

It’s fairly well-known that GPS has fully taken pics of other people’s plants and passed them off as their own. I’ve heard from more than one person that GPS used pics of their plants from their grow logs, completely unrelated to GPS, on the GPS website. So, uh, post away. I guess?

OMFG the fucking twilight zone…acid flashback or bad nightmare come true? I hope these 2 are paying OG for their passive aggressive advertising campaign…

exactly!

Paying $ to Joe to spam OG with their sub-par genetics is not the answer here

TBH I’ve purchased and ran greenpoint genetics, some keepers, most not. Got burned on a fe raspberry kush deal, but all in all, The seeds were worth the money, but these were all regs, and purchased when Gu was doing the breeding (I assume, lol). Before the Heisen drama takeover retirement hemp transition. But y’know, for someone who had a shadey start, Gu has succeeded in the US like the marketing Master Subcool did. Sold millions of dollars worth, and has been around. So it irks me when he still sounds like a little boy, needing to massage his ego somemore, in order to belittle his clientelle, and laughing all the way to the bank. Outing legitimate critics, and playing coy, just wish he’d grow up or F**k Off.

I bought copper chem as my first GPS pack. It wasn’t bad. Then my 2nd purchase was some some Topanga Canyon S1 and Valley Chem from GPS. They were the 2 worst packs of seeds I have ever purchased. Total mutants and hermies. The S1 had the worst buds. They were small and punt with sugar leaves that looked like fan leaves. The Valley Chem had 6 hermies. In the trash it went Both packs had Topanga in them. Bagseed would be a step up. The guy that chucks the beans, does not smoke weed, eh??
As for the animal cookies crosses, lmao. I see heisen is quick to put up the good photos but forgot to mention all the hermies and mutants that people got. There’s a contest thread on the GPS chucker site and like 13 out of 30 contestants had intersex issues. Ha, convenient that wasn’t mentioned along with the pictures. I’m sure everyone needs a GPS hermie in their tent, not!

@monkeyman you are certainly entitled to your opinion but definitely not your own facts. This thread was created long before me or gu showed up, so I would say that is hardly here to spam , considering this thread was already here.
Im here to answer questions and post pics of our work. I do not troll other breeders threads accross the internet because I may or may not have had a bad experience. I would say sub par is most definitely reaching , I can point u in a direction where 100s of people would disagree.
Sure gu has made mistakes , and so have I. We all have. I apologize in advance if you are perfect and have never made any mistakes.
I would encourage anyone with first hand experience to share it, good or bad. Thats what these forums are for. Getting bent out of shape when someone defends themselves when there name is getting drug through the mud isn’t cool imo. Nothing but love for you man. We all have our days.

Why are you telling a straight up.lie? Can u just tell the truth. I’m ok with someone bashing me as long as what they are saying is the truth but 13 out of 30 is complete BS. The only person I was aware of that even mentioned herm was hotwired but his seeds got mixed up and they was a regular pack.
I just don’t understand when someone has a beef with someone just tell the facts and not all this made up BS to try and give your story some credibility. If you seriously had an issue like this it would have been straightened out in a heartbeat with CS.

Calling your critics liars is weak and pathetic gaslighting. If you go back through this thread, and many others across the interwebs, you’ll see that hermies are a common complaint about your gear. But you already know that, don’t you?

There truly is no win here. No matter what is said I’m wrong and he is right. Forget about the facts of what he said and it does not matter if they are true or false. I suppose I should have just said thank you sir for exaggeration of the truth.

200 people can successfully grow 200 plants and you will hear little feedback. A hand full of people get herms and they run straight for the forums to yell it from the mountain. Its the way the world works. Very few people leave good reviews but majority of people who have negative issues will almost always leave a review.
Yes breeding F1 hybrids to elite clone only are going to cause issues in some crosses. We are 100.percent dedicated to researching strains and putting things in motion to test every product, and create our own lines from scratch.

How about addressing the whole “using other people’s pics and passing them off as GPS gear” deal? That’s a verifiable fact. I’ve heard from more than one person that y’all used their pics, completely unrelated to GPS, and tried to pass them off as GPS crosses. I’m very interested to know what that’s all about.

Is that Tahoe elite?

Listen man I take orders from the top when it comes to making what we have. All this has changed in past few months. I have been given the keys to the city and a facility big enough to do what we have always wanted. To create our own lines, test each product extensively, and im.in charge of all the photos.

As far as the photos go when you have a company different people are in charge of different things. We have a content person. This is no secret. Everyone who was a part of the other place knows this.
The intention was to never post those pics or claim they was ours. They were just pictures of the original plants or clones that was used in some of the crosses. This was not not done on every product but only on newer strains or ones we didn’t have pics for. The content person was in charge of this. I personally had 0 control in that department I just make the seeds. Its not like me and gu sit in a room all day conspiring on who we can screw over.
Sometimes drops happen so fast and we have limited time to get content.
It was crazy as hell to me and I always said it that we had 1000s of photos of our stuff but for whatever reason the content person picked those photos. ALL OF THIS has since been corrected like other issues and will never happen again. We will supply our own photos of the exact crosses we made. All of our crosses will be tested just like the Animal Cookies crosses were before they was released.
I will tell you that if people would flip there plants after the plants are sexually mature instead of right after they get a few sets of true leaves they would have less problems.

Why don’t you just take pictures of the plants you tested? Surely you must be testing your crosses before you release them, right? Right?!?

Too late, pal. It happened. For years. I’m assuming that you and Gu posting here is y’all’s sort of “redemption tour”. Trying to rehab your image.

Not interested.

Dude, they didn’t even use Tahoe, Cali Connection’s or otherwise, in that California Cannon cross they’re selling. I’ve come to the conclusion that the Cali Cannon “grow report” on the GPS website is just somebody’s Tahoe OG grow.

Somebody posted pictures of their plants earlier today or yesterday, looks like they’ve been deleted now, but their pics looked EXACTLY like the Cali Cannons I grew, even though they were something entirely different. I’m thinking GPS just has some random male in a room somewhere, spewing pollen all over the place, and they’re calling everything a Tahoe cross or a Triangle cross or a GSC cross or whatever. Buncha bullshit.
