Grotebags Greenhouse Goodness...a grow log

The growing season has started with the planting of this years cultivars.
#2 Bodhi ‘Pine Apple’ clones
#1 Bodhi ‘Lemon Wookie’ from seed(DNA-F)
#1 Bodhi ‘Lavender X Neroli 91’ cross by BB420(DNA-F)
#1 Bradley Danks ‘Platinum Jagger’(fem)
#1 white label ‘Chocolate CBD’(fem)
25 gallon fabric W/promix, Blumat long ‘carrots’ gravity watering setup, GreenGro & Dr Earth ferts.
Feels great being back outside, excited about what I’ll be growing. Purchased a tent last fall, still wrestling with indoor ‘learning curve’ so it’s wonderful be be back in my comfort zone. Gonna try to keep posting photos of the progress.

#6 25 gallon pots and two swamp coolers because a single ran on high, much quieter with two on low.
A work in progress.

Good idea, does that work in your favour for the ambient RH?

Before those coolers it got hot & dry inside, just exchanging the air was not enough to keep the inside cool. The low humidity attracted spider mites, those swamp coolers fix both problems. They will not work in humid environments.

Do you need to crawl under in a few weeks? lol. I have one plant in the green house for a test over 100 degrees inside yesterday she survived the first day no shock or wilt. Gifted clone sliver haze.

Couple of years back I purchased a ‘Govee’ temp & humidity logger, learned I was doing it all wrong. On sunny summer days it was literally Death Valley weather inside that greenhouse, those coolers fixed that. Added a 40% shade cover this year which brought the heat down too.

Another week in…vigorous.
No sign of spider mites yet, beneficials are working.

Another week in: First spider mite and last night a sausage party!
The 1:1 CBD fem seeds I planted are male this year, last year those seeds hermed in July. Two packs of relatively expensive seeds and not a single plant grown to completion. I thought it was possible to lose that plant so I kept an extra Pine Apple clone and that plant has filled the sixth spot in the greenhouse.
First spider mite of the season yesterday. Normally they show up early-mid June but this year I started the Californicus mites on 6/1. Last year I started the beneficials mid July and finished the season without a single spray in flower, the SM were there but never more than a single mite per leaf, compared to prior year that’s miraculous.
The Pine Apple clones are throwing flowers already, not even July yet.
Feels good.

It’s a boy!

Survived the hottest week in years, plants are loving it, me not so much.
Need them to stop growing up and start growing flowers, not much space left and I’m not getting any thinner…time to start thinning some of the fan leaf, getting too crowded.
Added the second batch of Californicus mites, switching to flowering ferts this week.
Feels good.

Another week in,just about out of room.
Flowering ferts today along with ‘tea’, been doing an aerated tea twice a week.
Still no spider mite signs, going to make another order of beneficial bugs today. Used the good bugs in the raised beds this year with OUTSTANDING results on the leafy stuff.
Having fun…

Carrot blossom…for the bees.

Another week. Time for some defoliation, in self defense.
No pests, no feeding issues, right on the cusp of flower and the nodes are shrinking.
Plants are drinking heavily, the blumats are making a difference…beneficial mites are doing their job.
Happy.
