Howdy y’all, I’ve been going through a health challenge the past few months.
I’m not one to usually seek out a doctor or prescriptions and I currently find myself taking antibiotics and other perceptions hoping to find relief and resolve to this that has been affecting the quality of my life lately. The doctors recently said it’s a pretty severe staph overgrowth infection, going on for about 4 months now because I had left it undiagnosed and untreated.
I’m here seeking help from others in the community in the form of group mindfulness and meditation. Focused positive thought for healing. I have long believed that words are powerful, especially the ones we think and say to ourselves, and I remember hearing about some group focused meditations in the past that have had tremendously positive results for others.
So I’m asking for help from the community here if you have the time and willingness to think positively for me, specifically for me to find myself in good health soon and to rid myself of this staph overgrowth infection, it would be greatly appreciated.
Also, this topic and space can be and is encouraged to be utilized by other members who would like to draw on support of the community for group effort healing. Just say who and/or how you would like group effort healing to be focused on and those reading who would like to help can join in with their focused thought and mindfulness towards the specific scenario.
Prayers, meditations, and all positive healing vibes of wellness are welcome. Many blessings and much love
Well wishes man I’ve had staph twice in my life years ago when I played football and recently after a nasty venomous spider bite. As you know it’s one of those tricky situations where the body has to heal on its own accord but I remember trying various ointments and creams that eventually combined to work. When I get back home will try to look and remember what I used
I’m dealing with recurrent dental infections myself, I’ll keep you in my thought and prayers!! Have they given you any guidance on how to support yourself through lifestyle choices? Diet? Supplementation? You shared a lot of great info with me not that long ago and I know you’ll get through this!! One of my favorite breathing patterns for discomfort is 4-7-8 over 20 minutes and up to an hour.
Staph from football or wrestling feels like a very common one, I’ve had Staph and then MRSA once from football and 2x from highschool wrestling and then BJJ. When I got it in highschool it was actually a huge thing and like 30 of us got it from competing on dirty mats at a tournament
I use a traditional Chinese formula for staph. I have to deal with it a lot from training at the gym. It’s basically a natural antibiotic that really works. I’ve never needed anything else. If you want I’ll send you some. And I’ll focus a healing white light around your infection. Sorry to hear about that man.
Yes very true and I played in high school and briefly in college over 20 years ago before we were all much wiser with Clorox wipes and everything. Recently got a brown recluse bite on my foot and didn’t know about it until too late… basically weeks and months of healing from the infection. Just a pain in the ass on every level
I was cleaning some ductwork in my grow room and cut my elbow. Never checked on it because I couldn’t see it very well. Turned staph went into my bone and I almost lost my arm. And it moved really fast. I’ve never been more terrified in my life
They have something called a hyperbaric oxygen chamber that’s supposed to force oxygen deep into your cell walls. It helped my nephew with his stomach problems and it’s used for lots of other things too
Thank you all for contributing to this group effort healing thread thus far.
@Headies12green it’s encouraging to read that you were able to overcome staph twice in the past. Thank you for sharing, adding to the conversation, and thank you for the well wishes.
@Sodapop, you are in my thoughts, prayers, and focused mindful meditations. I am thinking and focusing positive healing thoughts right now for your dental infections to heal fast so they are no more than a distant memory and no longer a problem or concern for you. I’m praying and meditating for those infections to be removed from your life and that you are basking in good health again soon. Thank you for your heartfelt words. The doctors I am seeing have been more about the medicine and prescriptions, as they are their learned tools, but some have been more open minded about some of the holistic lifestyle and diet aspects I bring up as topics during visits. I feel the holistic aspects are very important so I am trying my best with what I have been learning about holistically in conjunction with the modern medical advise I have been getting from the doctors. I’m trying to create an environment for my immune system to have the least amount of burden so it can focus maximum effort on battling the staph overgrowth, so aiming for a diet that requires the least amount of energy to digest while providing plentiful nutrition. Easier said than done when struggling with day to day tasks, but what I try for is plentiful fruits and high fiber vegetables with minimal carbohydrates and lean protein. Doing my best to keep inflammation low but it’s hard because I enjoy sweets and fatty foods. Trying me best to get good sleep and not stay up late worrying as I had been doing when obsessively researching a cure.
Trying to get light exercise in, nothing too strenuous, while working towards being able to do more strenuous activities again. Walking has been helpful and I look forward to surfing again. Stimulating my lymph node system to help cleanse my body. This whole ordeal and the massive amount of research I’ve been doing has taught me so much about lifestyle choices that I’d never given much though to before. In many ways it has changed me for the better and once past this staph ordeal I plan to keep many of the things I have learned about healthy living in my life. I’m going to Google that 4-7-8 breathing technique and try it out. The nice picture you shared is very helpful, I will be moving there soon! I was planning on being there end of last month so once I’m feeling better I’m booking a flight and it’s something that’s helping keep my spirits up because I’m really looking forward to the move, so that picture is really meaningful to me.
@Chara thank you for your helpful contributions, and adding on to my previous remarks about the holistic approach Traditional Chinese Medicine has been something I’ve been delving into in my research and I’m starting to incorporate some of the things I’ve been reading and learning about. I have had a book on Traditional Chinese Medicine that someone gave me a while back and cracked it open a few weeks ago looking for help. Since then I’ve been learning and finding resonance with the yin yang aspect. A buddy of mine said to me when all this was starting that my balance was off and to find my balance again, and I’m noticing so many similarities with how the Traditional Chinese Medicine views balance, yin and yang. I notice many of the things that I’m finding comfort and relief in are strong yin aspects so I think I was deficient in yin and that dampness in my body was encouraging the staph overgrowth. I’ve been focusing on strengthening my spleen, liver, and kidneys to help best expell things from my body that aren’t serving me. Trying to focus on my breath, deep healing breaths instead of shallow worry filled breathing. I would very much like to learn more about the traditional Chinese formula natural antibiotic you speak of. I have been contemplating visiting a local Chinese herbalist for some teas, herbs, and balms/creams. It’s been hard to get out of the house lately, feeling like leper and embarrassed to be seen. The staph has done a number on my skin. I’ll send you a PM about your natural antibiotic. The focused white light from you is helpful. I am grateful for you.
@StrongerthanDirt, thank you for the positive healing thoughts and for sharing your time and energy. They are well received. I noticed my breath slowing and getting deeper feeling the warmth of your words as a good medicine. Feeling more relaxed and hopeful. It means a lot to me for you to contribute here in this thread and I’m glad you are enjoying the topic as well. I hope it will be a vehicle for healing many, for whoever needs it.
Sorry to hear what you going through right now. Wishing you well Mr. and every OG having health and whatever issues you are battling. Sending positive vibes from East to the rest of the world.
Healing for everyone!
First, of course, I’ll send out whatever positive vibrations, I can to you.
I’ve come to a point in my life, where, I know there are great things about antibiotics, and there are times it is way over prescribed, IMHO.
Since, I do live the Appalachian’s, and many, many folks back in here, have been using the the old ways, for health care.
Some of the old concoctions are worthless, I get it.
Some are being looked at through different research, currently.
I remember, Brewers Yeast, is used for skin irritations, for some bowel issues, and other things.
It is not a miracle cure, it is not considered by many health practitioners as an option.
However, when I see, positive results, from the stuff, I got to at least let you go read for yourself.
I hope you find some peace Sbeanonnamellow!!
That’s the difficult part: They get us hooked on the “good stuff” that destroys our bodies and systems and it’s tough to stop. A few years ago I took the decision to become a vegan so I understand a little about letting food go. It really helps me when I learn more and watch bodybuilding videos, because the guys stop seeing food as a pleasure and basically only count the numbers, good part is they do not eat “useless” things like us. I am trying to get in better shape but it’s difficult to happen when I eat a whole pack of oreos if I buy them, lol.
But yeah, you’ve mentioned the inflamation, have you tried cutting down on wheat/milk? specially the former one. Many friends of mine quit on gluten and felt many stomach benefits.
Also, I would totally recomend you do online yoga (so it’s free and you don’t get self concious around people and stuff), they normally end it with a guided meditation, imagine you’re surrounded by a light near a waterfall and stuff, which is amazing when you’re feeling your wholel body sore. I’m not gonna send you the youtube channel I do because it’s in portuguese, but I am sure you can find 100’s if you try.
Whish you good health and a fast recovery
