Dont have to burp the Groves, and they will regulate humidity levels, long as what goes in is between 58-62%

Yes. You have to have the bud at the right level humidity to suit yourself. After they go into the bag then it’s done other than the wait.
It will hold that level from then on. The thing is, you don’t ever have to burp a jar. I was not consistent with that aspect of using jars and my cure showed it. These remove that necessity.
I don’t store my smoke in Grove Bags. They are used only for the cure and then go into jars.

I’ve never burped a jar. Bud doesn’t get jarred until it’s dry.

If I may ask, what is your process exactly? Do you hang dry until ready (58-62) then into bags for some amount of time, and then into jars for long term storage? My hope is the bags would replace the jars for long term storage. If they don’t do that then there isn’t really a point in my using them. I would just get bigger jars

Yes @HolyAngel . That’s my method but most use them for long storage. My decision is based on me being too cheap/poor to buy enough to store all the different strains I have on hand.
I have decades worth of canning jars to use. lol

i will never store in a jar again, bags much nicer, take way less space, dont get all wet when put in a cooler (storing bud over 70F, your wasting your time) when empty take 1/10th the space of jars.
No downsides to Groves i have seen

I agree @Jetdro . If there’s a time when I can do so, I will buy a goodly amount of them. Probably 90% would be quarter lb bags. I’d love to have enough to store all my stuff in them long term.
I call my home “Poverty Ridge” for a good reason. We have to make due as best we can. lol

I just ordered 5-1lb bags and 6-1/2 ounce glassless. 
Glassless are cool for gifting 1/2 ounces. Still think 15+ dollars to ship flat bags snail mail is robbery.

My opinion jars suck , have you ever experienced what I call jar weed where it all smells and tastes the same after long storage in jars ?
Jars maybe ok for short term curing but leaving it for a year I’ve found it goes funky.

Like I’d mentioned earlier vacuum sealing once it’s at 58% store in a cool dark place is my preference.

I have vacuum sealed it before but I have a crap sealer. It’s a fight every time I use the thing to get a good seal.
I store them in weathertite totes under my bed sitting on the hardwood floor. I never vacuum seal. I rarely open them. When I open them I can’t keep my head out the bag. Smells So Good.

Go buy a new one make sure your able to stop it before the buds crush . First one I got it didn’t have that option sucked till they were a solid rock .
I also seal them first in a ziplock with just a small amount of air in it than vacuum till it’s firm and seal.
