As an indoor grower for years, I’m leaning more and more to sun grown being better.
The indoor lets you grow anything you want. Outdoor plants are a more selective group of plants that will preform in your area

Outdoor grower. Seems to be the best.
Have not run into a plant that ran too long.
Panama Red finished in November.
But I am on LI and it was 78 today.

I’m not pulling tarps all season. I’m not even sure I could get a tarp for the hoop house. 100 by 28.

The young buck isnt reliable, that much is true. Thats why you gotta rent them in 2s or 3s. Thats also why you pay them so little. Its messed up to have to hire so many to do the work of one man.

I have one. College grad in music and art. On time and a great worker.
Have loaned him to a racing guy and all I get is praise about him.
I teach him welding and one hour of welding is two hours in the garden.
My last one is now an engineer at Intel, the previous one got a doctorate of chemistry from Harvard. There are a few out there.

I’m no young buck and i do all the work myself ! But, Hubby dose trim for me… thankfully! He does not partake. But supports me 100%!
My season ends the first 2 weeks of October.
So i have to get strains that finish in that time frame.
Otherwise it gets interesting… like my Acapulco Gold! Lol
