Ohh Snap. That sounds great.
Very nice looking plants here…
Ps. 1st & 3rd photos have seeds growing on in the buds, but I’m assuming you already know this. Actually all 3 of the photos do lol
@CADMAN - Yep. 1 and 3 have seed from Lavender Frosting whijch is the middle picture and it’s just rock hard….no seeds in that bud.
You just moved up a notch in my book
Truly a joy to grow! Lavender Frosting combines Bodhi’s Lavender Jack(Jack Herer x Wookie) and Humbolt Seeds’ Vanilla Frosting f4(Gelato bx3 x Humbolt Frost OG). Strong branching, medium sized heavy nugs, resinous, profitable yield, and a very unique terp profile. Day 64. I have around 300 beans if anyone is interested. Msg for details.
Nice looking structure and giant solid buds by the looks of the pictures.
Nice Bud, Bud!
Thank the plant!
How I de-seed a bud. By the way, I’ve been using this technique for ten years without any problems. First step is to remove the buds with the seed and place them on a T5 for two days.
Once the bud are slightly dry, get a piece of paper and start rubbing the seeds out of the bud. Since the bud is still semi wet, most of what will fall will be just seed.
There is a little bit a shake always so what I do from this point is put the seeds and shake on a piece of paper, tilted at a 45° angle, and shake the paper gently back-and-forth. The seeds will roll down off the paper leaving the shake.
Pick out any shit seed and that’s it. Let them dry on a paper plate for two weeks and throw them in a bag which sits in a jar in a dry, dark closet. No need to refrigerate if the seeds are fully matured/tiger striped.
This is a super simple technique which allows one to bust out a shit load of seeds in no time. That’s about 30 beans in a few minutes. Not bad.
Couple weeks before flipping. Five feminized cheese plants, at three weeks, in cloth pots and three valley Vixen x Aspen OG, at two weeks, in slightly smaller plastic pots. Cheese are all uniform except for one and the AOG x VV are all over. Too early to show. Should be jaw dropping OG, with this gene pool. SFV OG in-crossed, Sour D, G13/Haze, and Dosidos. I will make f2s if I get a female, and start furthering the line. This could be my first go to market. Will be asking for testers.
I have a g13 haze. It has a very strong terp profile pine and something else, and stinks the house out worse than my other strains when smoking. It has a nice, relaxed, heavy buzz too. It is such a slow grower though. It veges slower than mac 1.
G13/haze and NL/haze are some of my favorite old school flavors.
The larger batch is Vanilla Frosting f2 V1, and the small batch is Vanilla Frosting x Sour Bananas V1.
Congratulations on the seed crop brother! Always a great feeling. Positive vibes…

Nice haul! Congrats!
Congratulations on your seed making, ain’t it always fun & exciting
This cross sounds super yummy
How did the sour Bannanas taste?
Did it actually represent a Bannana ish smell taste?
I’m lookin to add into a Bannana strain I’ve got, cross them or find a very outstanding Bannana flavor & cross that with Malana Cream Landrace strain, to make Bannana Flavored Creamy Hash.
If your interested in a trade for this cross? PM me and we can work something out
I was thinking Vanilla and Banana would be a yummy cross. I’m jelous, my friend.
I haven’t tasted anything yet, but the Sour Bananas stretch pheno has a grapefruit smell, and the other three are tangy juicy fruit and bubblegum. I think if I grew them right, yield would have been better, but the buds are dank.
I tasted a 4 day dried bud of Vanilla Frosting. I think I’m in love. It does need a proper cure, but compared to other 4 day dried buds, its up there. So smooth and easy on the lungs, tasty vanilla and skunk flavors. Wish I knew who gave me this pack. OG member- come forward and show thyself!!
I usually don’t like fruity buds. But I’m intrigued by how the Sour Bananas smell will translate to taste. As far as loudness, it destroys the Vanilla Frosting. Classic Northern Lights SOG structure. But I don’t see any Sour Diesel in the plants. I was hoping for Sour D dominance.
