Growin' and Chuckin'

@gramps was growing the VF a few years ago and still is. @Danonly and I split a pack of the beans we bought online. I still have mine, or some at least. I might have shared some with @misterbee.

I don’t remember anyone else growing it.

Did it not end up being @WeTokeChronic? I could have sworn that I recalled him offering them at one point. I’m old. Positive vibes…

@WeTokeChronic did we trade for the Lavender Frosting?

@MG_Canna well if you end up given away any Vanilla Frosting x Sour Bananas V1 seeds plz keep me in mind. I’ll do a trade with ya no problem.

It had to have been him. I got 5 of those from him and also 5 mimosa frosting.

Me too. I wanted to grow the Mimosa. His advice was grow the Lavender Frosting. Good advice. If you haven’t, you should. It’s fire. More skunk and gas than expected.

Fem’d Cheese in the cloth pots and Valley Vixen x Aspen OG in the square pots, stripped of fans, topped at the 6th internode, and clones taken of most. (Ran out of cloning gel) looks like some sort of bug seems to be breeding around the pots but nothing wrong with plants yet. No bugs on the plant, but maybe they’re root aphids?? Never seen these before and can’t identify online.

What do all think?

Going in the bag! This reminds me of Sour Power…the color, frostiness, holy shit that super sour skunk smell is the ultimate for me.

Were those hung up high or at soil level? I’m guessing either thrips (easily treated in veg with spinosad, bloom idk) or spring tail (usually fine)

Soil level. Nothing flying around. Not sure what they’re feeding on. The plants look super healthy. Not to mention, every day when I go into the grow closet which has no plants in it, I find more of these things scampering around on the ground in circles. Just read up on springtails. Nailed it, brother. They hop when I spray them with insecticidal soap. They hide under the pots where moisture is high. Is triazicide safe as a soil drench?

Yea we traded…you gave me the Valley Vixen and some other strains & I gave you Lavender Frosting and Lavender Mimosa. Right now I’m crossing Lavender Frosting male with MAC1, Waiting Game, Cherry Dosido, Animal Mintz bx1, Alien OG, Tahquitz OG, Banana OG, Trainwreck, and back to Lavender Jack!! I’ll be doing giveaways again in Croptober :raising_hand_man:t3:

Good to hear you’re working that line.

The buds are Lavender Frosting, dried a week, and tastes like Sour Power, with more skunk and pine. It’s in my top 5 all time smokes……and it’s not cured yet. If you like AJ’s Sour D, this is close but again, more pine. Loving the General Organics biothrive grow, along with amino acids, cal/mag, Extreme Mycos, and Superthrive.

The growth in five days does not go unnoticed. Also helps to have a developed root system in a large pot. Cheese are 42 days from seed, Aspen Valley are 35 days from seed. I’ll take them a few more days before flipping to flower.
