Growin Stuff with Cannabinoid

Screwin around today. Been 2 weeks since the first few were chopped. Need to pick up some more grove bags, in jars for the short term.

A couple dozen mystery seeds already from one of the the Sour Bubble, not sure if it was Sour Bubble or Black Candyland pollen. Leaving the intentionally pollenated branches to get really dry for separation.

Last R x KS. This girl is loud! In the tent, new carbon filter, in the garage, still smell her. This Sunday will be 12 weeks. Pics from the weekend: Starting to see more cloudy trics still a number of clear. Think she could go 13 weeks or longer but need to call it, need time to dry, reorganize some things, other life stuff.

I decided not to chop last weekend, pushed her some and let her go longer. Double checked my math and looks like about 13 weeks plus a couple days today. Fattened up some, more dense than they may look in pics. About 30/70 clear vs cloudy/milky trics with just a few amber here and there using a loupe, cant get my microscope to connect/cooperate today. Still pushing out some white hairs and foxtails. Feels like I could still let her go another week or more but I have a crazy work schedule coming up and new projects to start, debating this being her last day.

The last R x KS is down as of late friday. Got a mix of cloudy, clear, some amber. Could have pushed a little more but really just ready to move on to something new.
Definitely different than the other phenos in this pack. 3 Indica leaners, 1 Sativa from 4 popped seeds all female. Took 1 at 9 weeks, 2 at 10 and this one went 14. Plant structure was similar in terms of branching and height this last one was slightly taller by maybe 5 inches. The bud structure for the sativa leaner was not as dense and formed more like wrapped/intertwined foxtails than solid more singular buds as on the indica leaners. The smells are strikingly different. The indica leaners are more sweet pine, and even floral perfume as they cure particularly the 1st one I took at 9 weeks, which was also the most colorful, more reds and purple leaves with the yellow. This girl reeks! Just slight undertones of the floral pine with much more pronounced fuel and skunk. This is chopped, in a tent drying in the garage and i smell it at the street. Drying a little too quickly for me, going to pop them into a tote for a while to slow it down.

Im sure I affected the potential for this one in changing the feed schedule too soon expecting more of a 9 -10 week flower period. Live and learn.

Few pics.

Lol, the buds look nice but i know will shrink a bit more when drying. Looking forward to what a few months good cure does. Hoping it helps with some relief for my wife and nice gifts.

Fox farms trio, microbe brew, cal mag with dynomyco and epsom salts added in the soil mix. ff happy frog in #1 pot then transplanted to a 3 gal in strawberry fields. Been my favorite mix in variation in the last several runs in soil so far, seem to struggle a couple weeks into flower with everything starts looking rough early. Personally have better luck when keeping on the veg nutes a few weeks into flower with a lower initial bump of bloom nutes, thinking 3 weeks could go more maybe. Will see. Started a couple in recycled soil.

Same here, I go to about week 2 of flower before switching.
Up-potting prior to flower gives me a chance to ‘tweak’ the soil mix with some bloom nutes added as well.

For sure, I like a solid 2 weeks after moving from near rootbound #1 containers into 3 gallon before flip. Potentially longer depending how they’re doing and how many i run. Seems to work for my set up indoors and with indica leaning strains fills nicely. I follow close @80% to the ff feed schedule for rates just extend veg. Feels like it gives me decent results for my purposes. Could probably do better but hey, wifey ain’t complaining.

Thiking about the next run. I have some Sour Bubble x Black Candyland that I made. Also have some Fatso x Grape Stomper OG that I “f2’d”
made from a male and female tester run last year. That bud was very nice, a heavy producer, and something my peeps ask for more of, seriously grape. Also some Sour Grape from @DougDawson that I’m m sure will be nice. Could be interesting if i can find the intense grape terps and come up with a good cross.

Uppotted from 4" to #1 containers. Guess ill be short a Sour grape in the mix. Hope to get lucky with the M/F ratios. Nice root development.

Got a volunteer outside.

Quick update. 3 Left- Sour Grape, 4 center Black Candyland x Sour Bubble, 4 right Fatso x GSOG. Mutant up front left i like little freaks. The selections used for the BC x SB were really short squat phenos and one specific trait I was looking for, I know theres not a lot of variery here but on this scale happy so far. The GSOG crosses are really branching out. Have not identified sex yet beyond one female gsog. Still quite tiny sexy parts, even on zoom, should know this weekend what i have to play with.

Starting to get hot in the garage, hitting 90 so lights off durring the hot part of the day. Still 70s at night. Seem to handle okay overall. Culled a couple males have 4 confirmed females 5 still not quite sure.

I have not topped or lst’d any of these. Wanted to see what they would do straight up. All GSOG crosses and 1 of the Sour grapes are much taller and GSOGs are really branching out. The Black Candyland crosses are staying squat with dense, tight branching like the Sour Bubble mom. The mutant sour grape is hangin in there.

Got a little modling on the leaves, maybe ph issue, may just be hungry. These have only been fed once and that was a few days ago.

Quick update.

Moved the males outside to do their thing. One BC x SB male already dropping pollen collecting to make F2s.

Have a couple Sour Grape males, hanging onto one beefy boy (far right) to cross with a Fatso x GSOG, composting the other.

Indoors have 3 Fatso x GSOG, 1 BC x SB, and possible Sour Grape (Mutant) female. Defoliated, tied em down, and ended up topping. Should fill the 2 x 4 pretty well. Will flip in about a week.

Good day today, my birthday, took a couple days off work, got a new tent, fishing gear, new smoker,
puttering around the garden and napping.

The ladies were really struggling in the garage, temps hitting over 100 now. Gotta say the Gorilla tents are nicely built, nice material. Went from a 2 x 4 to a 24 x 30 its all I have room for indoors right now. It’s pretty crammed in there will flip tomorrow. Will pull out the runt/mutant sour grape from the center and let it go outside. Still can’t tell male /female on it.

Males outside hangin in there, and a female that was topped on every branch a week ago. Dogs been nibbling the leaves need to move it.

Shots of the side garden.
