Growing Trees with Meesh 2021

And I can’t help myself I have to share a pic of my Shasta Daisies that I started from seed 3 years ago. They were a bitch and a half. This is the first year in true glory and with full gorgeous blooms. I’m so proud of these stupid plants. The photo doesn’t do them justice

Thank you!! Exciting on the Zinnias! I love them! I stopped growing them as they always get riddled with pm here, def post some pics when they bloom. You know this lady wants to see!

Yes, that bermuda grass is the bane of my gardening existence!! UGH!! I could solarize the patch but then I wouldn’t be able to grow any cannabis as it has to be a consistent 80 degrees for 2 weeks to do it and that’s when the plants would be in full flower. I’ll fight the grass instead and grow my bud. lol Funny too, it grows in the damn patch and the flower beds but the back of the backyard is a brown weed patch. Why cant it grow there, where I want it? Actually, I would prefer a flower field instead of grass, but too much water for either. Cali is major drought, it never rains and the water bill is already off the chain. Cant waste it on growing grass in my massive backyard. And so… all I can do is bitch at it.

Just checked back. It has been 17 days since second batch of plants had first transplant. I was thinking they looked pretty sad today and that I would transplant them into the 2 gallons tmw afternoon. Whew! I by no stretch of my imagination thought that they were almost 3 weeks in. The first batch went almost too long at 17 days. Tomorrow Ill take care of this. It will be nice to have them all just in the 2 gallons. They wont need to be watered as often and its just easier to treat them all the same. Time is flying! They are gonna be in the ground and budding in no time!

Every now and then life gives me reminders to ‘STFU’ & that my challenges in life will NEVER be as severe as many other people. An awkward & temporary transitional feeling that somehow humbles & inspires simultaneously.

If anyone will save the planet, it will be gardeners. :pensive:

Morning and the Orange Goji is stinking up the yard! Smells good out here! I have a quick client down by the beach then I’m gonna transplant the last batch and some other flowers I have. Already sounding like a great day! Happy Tuesday!

Got the last batch of plants transplanted. I didn’t bother with the Azad Kasmir 1. It’s a mutant and didn’t grow out of it, it’s still sitting there. Didn’t have the heart to chuck it in the green can yet, but I will. So I’m down 3 plants now. 2 MW and K1. No male naughty bits on the last MW so far. If it’s gonna go male, it will probably show any day now if it follows the other 2 plants schedule. I’ve been eyeballing it every day. Actually been eyeballing them all right now, in case they want to show me what’s under their skirts. The sooner I know the better, so I waste less time and resources on them. I do have a friend who is interested in any extra females I get should I not need them. That makes me happy. It would kill me to trash a perfectly good female that’s close to bud. Knowing me, I’d end up keeping them and having to container grow them. Not sure I want to deal with more than 1 container grow plus the ground trees, but…

I had planned on growing the Orange Goji in a 20 gallon. If all goes well, I’m gonna get a clone of the real Blue Dream shortly. If we can’t make it happen, I’ll probably dump this Blue Dream anyway and just put the Orange Goji in the ground. I’ll take another pic tmw of the BD I started from seed. Seriously, it’s blueberry at best and is so indica dominant that it’s gonna mold for certain. Those of you who aren’t familiar with BD can compare my pic with the clone @gramps is growing and you can see in a second that it’s not even close. The one I had last year resembles the one I have this year. She was a beauty growing, but ended badly. She didn’t have a chance outside here. I think these BD fem seeds I have would make awesome buds indoors though. Seriously, if someone wants some let me know. Just know they are more blueberry plants than Blue Dream.

But I says cut a branch & force it to flower in a glass of water in a cabinet & bend it to your will…!

I don’t believe in Murphy’s law, I believe in O’Malley’s law. “Murphy was an optimist”.

Which one @cannabissequoia ? The MW or the BD? Neither doggarn it! No motha effin lady boys this year!! I forbid it! :fist: None of them have big enough branches to cut and force sex yet. They’re gonna show me in like 2 weeks anyway on their own.

I have full confidence these plants will do as you will them to do. No doubt in my mind.

The plants are my allies. It’s Mother Nature that I contend with. She does what she wants.

That’s definitely the case with me. It’s like a pressure relief valve.

Just keep a close eye on the MW. 3 of 4 threw nanners after week 6 on me. May have been my fault, I don’t know. Just wanted to give you a heads up in case.

Couple folks said that now. I don’t think it was you. Watching like a hawk over here! Ah man! One left, universe please let me have one MW female with no nanners! Waaaaaaaa!
