As fun as it sounds it may not be the best course of action just because of the RH% requirements for a Gecko alone which is around 60-75%.

You’d be fine in veg but you’d endanger the little ones during flower.

Edit: Additionally you’d now also have to go total organic for the animals sake; which is not a bad thing but must be accounted for.

No man but I’ve had so many different lizards and salamanders living in my veg tent that’s adjacent to my backyard with all kind of critters and the only issue is making sure they have enough water. Not sure the super bright light is great for them but mine have survived

I tried with praying mantis in my tent. They climbed to the sun. Toasted little carcass.

That’s another good point. You’d need to make sure they can’t access your lighting or ventilation systems.

Ever see the movie The One? They all fight till there is just one left.
That is raising praying mantis if in a container you get hundreds from the eggs sack and when it is all over you have one left.
So I am waiting till we start to have food in the backyard before I hatch the egg sack I have.

I put Anoles that wander into my residence into the indoor garden to work for their room and board.
Florida is crawling with green and brown Anoles. They constantly patrol outdoor gardens and plants in containers. I find them indoors frequently, into the grow they go, they are always around and I pay them little mind.

What a bummer…wonder if i could do more research and find a suitable set up to have a biodiverse vegging area. Sincerely appreciate the responses!

Yep, we have both together over here! But it happens naturally. As cool as they look, Geckos/Tookays shit like crazy and it stinks like hell! My house is very indoor/outdoor so they let themselves in anytime they want. After a few years the novelty wore off, now I throw beanbags at them! It can also lead to interesting situations like this one on my bathroom floor…

Snake won, by the way!

Ahhhh, Life in the Tropics!

I miss those little guys!

As a child I used to try to catch them when in Ft Meyers with my folks or grandparents.

It never worked. Not even once. Those fuckers are fast especially for a developing kid!

They have reflex responses that would have made Bruce Lee proud…

Still researching but i wonder if i could utilize the bottom 4-5 inches of my tent area as a little shaded/bivouac area for maybe anoles or something i can find that will thrive alongside my plants. Just an FYI the reason this came to my mind is where i live my local craigslist(where i look for thrift store type goods) has tons of amphibians and other types looking for new homes. Takes some decent research though to make sure your doing it justice instead slow death march.

I wouldn’t want the climbing all over my trichomes. Plus they will poop everywhere.

You could add a humid hide box in a corner on the ground for the humidity issue in late flower.
