Thanks @Abbbian . I’ve been thinking about doing all this for decades and then went full on autoflower* as soon as i had the space, $$$, and security to do so. (*"“autoflower” = full speed right from the start!)

Yep! It’s beginning to dawn on me too!! After all, I do have some autos to crank up!!! I’ve killed a few but can only acknowledge its unique speedy qualities!! Congrats!! 
Hopefully learning enough to grow more instead of the other way around!! 
Must say I also hate the fact we can’t go on cloning comfortably from here to eternity!! Pardon Buzz!

Ta! I was trying to use the term autoflower to describe "extreme immediate action.
Love the plants too because they’re stubborn survivors… but that’s also the slav/rus in me.

Yep! like my dog knocking a 4-day seedling and breaking it in half! 
I can’t miss a chance to jump on an auto discussion I have been growing them killing them and chucking pollen at them for 3 years now just recently pulled off my first reversals I dont think they will ever surpass the photos but they have come so far and continue to be pushed by breeders and growers alike I truly believe in them and there place in the future of the cannabis world as more states go legal as more folks grow for the first time autos become more and more relevant I give so many seeds to folks here in NY that have never grown before people in the 60s growing for the first time I just tell them heirloom pepper or tomatoes and they get it it’s good to see so many folks here on OG becoming interested in them like Johnny Potseed growing them for the first time I got to see him drop almost 200 of the sour 60 I sent and it was amazing to see and he killed it

Indeed, auto and photos both have there places though I think we’re not far off from getting pretty close say concentration wise, though really if anything is of lower power it’s easy just to smoke a little more…

Sunday Update what day are we at…
Day 34/26
Right hand side moving along did a little light defoliation yesterday just to open it up a little and expose some bud sites, also the couple time sprayed Wedding cake at the front left is start to form pollen sacs, personally i like this one more than the other one int he other side that i was also spraying so ill likely hold out for its pollen which wont be as much.
Thinking of selections the back right is too scraggly/stretchy for my liking so we know where this goes, likely once i start seeing some decent pollen sacs ill likely make room on the other side and just bring the right side down to two plants in the next bit as i am taking off in two weeks which will help with water longevity.
Left hand side actually filling out a little right side of it still the sprayed plants, though changed something for the plants on the left hand reservoir 4 days ago and they have been doing good…

@Mr.Sparkle did you have to write the script for your andro auto water system? It’s all connected to a moisture sensor yes?
I seen something very similar on Amazon but I don’t have a coding bone in me lol

whole 3sqft per side with 30" tall doors, as for the arduino setups not here though you may find some of that info over on the autoflowernetwork forums and one version of the code is on github and yeah i did have to write and modify pretty much all of it for my purposes, saying that moisture sensors are more of a PIA than you think reason being is any time they get moved bumped or whatever the set range changes, like i would only consider running one if it was never gonna be moved and or touched and even still it would have issues, another thing is most all the cheap sensors will only last a week or two before they die especially if doing sensor readings all the time, i got around it by making my own Stainless steel rod sensors so they dont naturally corrode that quick and due to electrolysis by programing and having my sensor kick on power for only 2-5secs before it took a reading then it would turn off till the next reading say 2 hrs later.
Honestly had more issues dicking around with all that and I2C communication buses and EMF issues which i all solved though in comparison to my $2-3 dollar cycle timers i use for watering and basic digital timers for lights that ive been using the last couple years there is no point for me to go back to arduino control, its a fun project if wanting to learn and do arduino and codeing stuff though otherwise it was kinda over complicating things alot just for the sake of gadgetry.

I’ve been reading through your thread a lot Mr. Sparkle since recently getting into autos. Been watching and lurking. Can I throw my name in the ring? If not, its all good, love your thread and will continue to comb it for info. Here is a first attempt at a reversal on a triangle kush auto. Threads like yours got me inspired to give it a whirl. How long do you think until these open up. Hopefully there will be pollen! Cheers!
