Congratulations!
Thanks
alright was here and had time here are the photos of the plants yesterday, i let the front left plant in the right cab dry out and bit after i cycled some water through it just may of had build up thus the yellow lowers and dark green tops.
other cab i actually dropped those cut back photos into a corner after the shot so they had less light as something went sideways for them, gonna do a cycle watering for them to level their root zone.
Congratulations Mr. Sparkle! You probably mentioned it before, but is it a boy or girl?
Congrats @Mr.Sparkle they are soo cute when small
CONGRATS ON YOUR LITTLE OWN @Mr.Sparkle !
What great news! A new little future grower! Congratulations Mr. And Mrs !
Have fun on this adventure. It’s an amazing one!
Congrats on another successful breeding project @Mr.Sparkle!
Thanks everyone, yeah healthy 8+lb girl, and would say that breeding project went well, ironically little one needed to put in a light box for a few days due to jaundice but she a healthy one.
As for plants you kinda now know why ive been playing with simpler wick systems and tinkering with them.
Saying that they are doing alright and the plants i do think need a higher base EC feed, the one chamber jsut to see and the ones having a bit more issues i changed up to Jacks at a bit higher feed rate ec wise than what i was on.
The coco/perlite ratio though i will try at a true 50/50 next this stuff being around 40% perlite, still finding at least for some plants to be saying a bit to wet but in comparison to promix its way better.
also shifted plants around a bit too with the double grapes moved over to the right cab.
So yeah plants are kinda being kept in a base level or care and maintenance and ill tweak and learn as i go, i want to try jacks again more for PH stability as this maxibloom/gypsum in this setup does raise in pH quicker than i would like and possibly i may try megacrop as well in this setup now that im getting more in that comfort zone as far as media mix ratios and the other factors.
Congrats man. Just don’t try to feed baby formula through a wick system. It doesn’t work.
Day 32
Just flopped the right cabs left hand side plants before this pic also this cab seemed more on the hungry side than say any form of lock out, so increased the EC up to 1.3 and also moved over the one larger plant from the other cab and moved that small Double grape over to the left side, the plant moved over was feed on a bit higher jacks before moving back to this maxibloom mix that this cab is trialling.
Also one fo the plants completely choked out its wick with roots coming out the bottom of the pot, so had to insert another in that one pot or all the pot would of remained dry otherwise it was getting the water it needed from the roots that hand from the pot and have taken over the wick.
Left hand side just moseying along, toss the one cut down photo as the stress of the chop back looked like it caused it to flower when my light cycle shouldn’t have.
Extremely nice!
Day 37
There all running on jacks at the moment and greening back up, need to just plug in some values into my calculators for comparison purposes.
Day 39
Had to put in another wick in two pots just as the roots had pinched them off, otherwise just need to do some fills.
Better late than never but !!
Congratulations @Mr.Sparkle to you and the wife !!
Thanks, yeah little one is doing great, and by little i mean shes not so little lol.
Day 42
They all look like they are enjoying the change in feed with the reservoirs being in the 1.3ec range with whatever they have.
Day 44 last night i top watered all the pots till some runoff before throwing the lids and plants onto clean and filled fresh reservoirs, just slowly moving along not much to do with these wicks.
