The seed run is done and over with, got a couple thousand seeds that are drying and I’ll hand those out in a couple weeks to those who are interested after I get the custom seed pucks from @Bobgrows. But now it’s time to switch it up and do a flower run.
I cleaned out the tent as good as I could get it. Pollen was in every crevice and was an absolute pain in the ass lol.
Then I pulled the seeds outta the freezer. The strains we’re going with this time are from @JAWS and @Great_lakes_Genetics (Bad Dawg Seeds) The lineup is 3 Alien Cookies F2 #6 fems, 5 Alien Tech F3 (I was gonna do 6 but their were 5 in the freebie pack) and 5 Wedding Cake x Bye-Ya from GLG.
Standard paper towel method for the win, I get a good germ rate with the paper towel. Never really had luck with the pre-soak. @crownpoodle you asked me to tag you if I made a separate thread for this grow, so here you go brother, I hope you enjoy!

Nice @GrowTheAtlas ! I’ve got all 3 of these in my Tupperware. I’ve got a couple of those AC fems going that were really neglected due to health. Not sure what I’m going to do with them now. They’re in Solos now. Might just put them in 1gallons and just flower them out.
I do need to start a couple packs and run them to finish, without bugs, then I can get back to running some @JAWS testers.

I’d put them in 1 gallons and flower them if they were mine, sorry to hear about your health issues btw but I’m glad you’re on the mend 
I wonder how much the AC and the AT stretch during flower. Because I might flower them at 1’

If something happens the this grow, I have another freebie pack as a backup. Also the Alien Cookies was a 13 pack so I still have 10 of those left and a metric ton of GLG freebies so I can redo this grow if need be (god forbid)

(I’m gonna keep detailed notes on this grow for my own benefit so sorry about the lengthy uninteresting posts)
So I’m gonna reuse the soil from the seed run. Since I fed with salts, I flushed hot water through the soil until it ran clean using a 5gallon bucket I drilled holes in to use as a pot. I very slowly poured the hot water over the soil for about 10 minutes until it started to run out into my tub. At first it looked super orange and then over the course of about 30 minutes it ran clear. Then I took another bucket and filled it with 3 gallons of ph neutral water and threw in a sachet
of mosquito bits. Then I put the soil bucket inside the mosquito bit water bucket until the soil was saturated with the treated water. I let it soak for 2 hours and then pulled it out to drain. That’s pretty much how I treated the soil. It was stored outside so I did all that just in case some unwanted guests tagged along.
This is the soil that’s gonna be home for my seedlings. I’m still gonna be feeding with DynaGro and cal-mag only
So far the seeds are soaking up the water, looks like I could potentially have a good germ rate

48 hours after putting the beans in the paper towels, this is what we got.
3/3 Alien Cookies f2 #6 S1 (still needs a day)
5/5 Alien Tech f3 (also still needs a day for that little guy to pop a tap root, it is cracked tho)
1/5 Wedding Cake x Bye-Ya (one was ready so I planted it, the other beans were green and aren’t gonna germinate)

Sorry for not updating anything, I ate some cookies my wonderful girlfriend brought from church and got VIOLENTLY ILL, food poisoning. I’ve never been this sick before in my life. Had Covid 3 times, the flu a couple times, but I’ve never felt like this before. I’ve purged my entire body of everything so the stomach stuff is over with but my head hurts so bad. My body aches. I’m dehydrated so I’ve been eating saltine crackers and drinking water and Gatorade. I usually don’t get sick and when I do it’s usually not that bad. But holy fuck this is rough. I’ll update everything as soon as I can get up and into the garden without feeling like I’m gonna fall over.
