Guess who's breeding?! This girl!

I didn’t read that in Marriage 101. I better move on to the more advanced stuff.

That’s in the AP course, 101 is more about survival. 20 years(married) this year. Wouldn’t be where I am or have what I do without her. My greatest source of joy, frustration, and inspiration.

This is my favorite guy on youtube! We always call him “Mister Las Vegas” he wears that LV hat.

So interesting to see his grows…you wanna talk “OG” doesn’t get too much more original than AFG!

From the looks of the pistils, you’re gonna have a ton of seeds @Heather420. There won’t be a whole lot of flower, but there will be a lot of seeds… you’ll be pleasantly surprised, I’m sure.

I had a small pollinated flower tip, a few years ago, that was about 3” long and maybe 1” thick that harvested close to 250 seeds and maybe a bowl or two worth of weed and mostly calyxes.

Like I said, you will get a lot of seeds from your first pollination. Congratulations on taking your first step to becoming a pollen-chucker.

It’s fun to create crosses that sound like good combinations, grow them out, cure and smoke them to see if your initial thoughts were correct.
It’s also fun to share homemade creations with friends and fellow growers, they normally appreciate free seeds to grow for themselves.

There’s a treasure in every seed and who doesn’t like treasure!?

A lot of truths in :arrow_double_up: post.

Especially when you are crossing your Dad’s Favorite Trex.

I am pretty sure you will be presently surprised with your efforts.

Can’t wait to so see them beans… :star_struck:

What the hell is he wearing on his head? A containment hat ?

I’m glad I didn’t pick bigger limbs then lol I was worried I’d only get a few seeds from those small limbs I chose

The method you chose and the amount of pollen used guaranteed you would be maximizing seed production. The good news is you should have enough beans for a bit.
The no so bad part is going to be finding the time and space to grow all them seeds out

This whole plant has probably three tricombs on her. Is this normal when you breed?

I think that may have to do with genetics. The branches I have pollinated previously were super frosty.

So being possible bad genetics does that mean all the seeds will be shit? Damn that sucks I wasted my pollen on her :grimacing:

You never know I guess the male pollen may be really good and make better genetics than your currently growing. I finally told myself in 2 weeks I’ll pop my first cross so I really haven’t a clue I’m just as much as a noob except I’ve harvest seeds (on purpose) 2 times now. Haha. Good luck. It’s worth a shot growing one out… see how your work turned out.

I would not worry about it!

Your plant is just over 4 weeks into flower. As the plants leaves are showing you have a Sativa you are not even 1/2 way into flower yet!
Typically in week 4 of flower the trichome production will be shooting up which should cause your plant to start smelling very nice. The genetics on your plant may just start loading on the trichomes a bit later than normal. Not a big deal… Hopefully you will be noticing your plant start producing trics pretty hard shortly.

Does your plant have a good cannabis smell yet?

I think this is a good sign yea?! The calyx look swollen to me

@Maddawg still barely any trichomes on the plant, very little smell. It’s growing a good bit of bud but has zero density to it

Are you 100% sure that’s T-rex? That looks (as maddawg said) suspiciously narrow leafed.
If she flowers how she looks, you might be in for a long haul in terms of flowering time.

She definitely :pregnant_woman:.
I am seeing Trichomes on each of them swollen bracts :+1:

I am going to have to agree on :arrow_double_up:

I am going to assume flowering time is going to be long and the buds that were not pollinated are going to be bulking up.

Can you post a pic of any of the buds that were not pollinated?
That should give us a better picture of what is going on. :call_me_hand:

Here’s the picture of the seeds I’ve just been calling it Trex for short by @JohnnyPotseed

Here’s pictures of her bud I didn’t pollinate.
I’m seeing slightly more trichome production. I know I shouldn’t compare the plants because they’re all different strains but the other ones outside have far more trichomes on them

I’m not complaining man I’m just asking what’s happening with it. I grew one out and it was great I’m just curious why this one isn’t. I didn’t say anything bad about your genetics

Sorry if I misunderstood your post cuz How old is the plant you took pic of?
