Hacky sac attack!?!

Yes! But the weave on the one I had was a bit tighter.

“War” involved everyone in a circle, one person passed the bag by hand to a player and feet only from then on. The bag had to be hit 3x to be “charged” and then it was “loaded” and it could be kicked at anyone in the game. If it hit the ground the last player that touched it was out. So much fun and a new level with the chainmail bag.

Friend with glasses never participated with the chainbag because no matter how skilled everyone was you cannot account for an accidental face shot. Part of the 90’s fun but none of us agreed it was fun for glasses to break or actual injuries.

One buddy was a football (soccer) player and could move around all of us like a monkey. Little to no tricks but he transferred his ball handling skills directly to footbag. He was okay at stalling and did very few tricks cause his joy was moving around.

I could move around similar but found with my upper body being the bulk of my makeup I could do many of the tricks people wanted to do but was limited from leg length and that my ankles are fused so I used raw leg and core strength. But with stubby legs comes fast movements in a tight space so it looked like breakdancing with a bag much of the time.

The one trick I could do that no one else in my group could do was the pendulum. Which meant that if I got the bag “loaded” i could literally roundhouse it from a full spin into your face if I didn’t fuck-up the move.

Here’s a throwback!
