Hello my friends!
I aborted my clay pebbles grow and put the best plants in the cloning closet and a couple of days later, guess what?
It wasn’t the medium that caused the problems, because i also couldn’t get my plants going on rock-wool. I am still trying to figure out what causes the problems, but i think i am real close now to solving it.
Hope all is well hamme, setup is looking great
@Hamme hope all is well
Hamme where are you
Hello my friends, i am fine and how are you all?
I figured out what went wrong with the hydroton after all and the issue was too much light in the beginning.
I want to make this my bloom room which will remain on 12/12 for the whole time. And i am working on a room for veg. In this room the plants will increase root growth until they are strong enough to go to the bloom room.
In the bloom room there is a lamp that consists of eight Samsung led strips that i dimmed to 220 watts. I will increase the wattage to what the plants can handle. The point of 12/12 is near, which will remain that way as mentioned.
they look very happy! best of luck!!
I’ve downloaded an app called Photone on my phone and used to get a general idea how much light my seedlings were getting calculated in DLI. I found it useful, maybe it can be of assistance to you.
Looks great my brother
Amazing job
Thanks my friend!
Hamme your alive
Looks like we had the same issue… as @ifish stated a sec ago to me… anaerobic soil… seems like I get a buildup if light isn’t intense enough… but if I flush totally ruins everything… it’s hard to know what is the initial culprit sometimes… but it seems like waterlogged is the root of issue in my grow
Sorry to hear that bro, my problems didn’t come from soil since the plants are one clay pebbles. It took me several months before i figured out that the lights were just too intense.
What ppfd??
I don’t know what ppfd but i dimmed the Samsung strips to 210 watts and it was still too much. Not until i hung up two tci strips from a total of 80 watts the plants started to catch on.
So you needed other light?
