Yea nice going brother! Samsung leds tend to be very strong, I know (have 770 watts and there is more to come lol)
Yes but now the Samsung strips hang again dimmed to the max which leaves a total of 213 watts.
They indeed are pal and that plants on clay pebbles seem to react more intense to everything than plants on other media.
Looking well hamme, i see led lights have came on leaps and bounds from when i was last growing. i still like the heat of the HPS sun
I like the heat of hps too, but the harvests led has given me turned me into a led convert. No turning back for me.
I see one of your grow hamme with them was it 2gpw? Its crazy what they can produce i will make switch but slowly i think
It was 1,5 grams per watt. Could hardly believe it myself.
Hello.
Since i see a lot of potential in the clay pebbles, i kept trying and trying until i finally found the missing link.
As mentioned it was true that the led lights were too intense, but it was caused because i didn’t flood often enough…
Amazing hamme i also see your humidity on that grow was really low correct? it goes to show everything now focused on vpd higher humidity etc but imo the plant can cope with high temps low humidity and still produce strain dependent ofcourse. I think its all about reading the plant itself it tells you what it wants in a silenced language
Yes the low humidity is a very important factor for that strain to become short and bushy instead of long slings. Very sharp that you noticed that! But without the Samsung strips i could not have done it.
Nicely done my friend
I knew you would figure it out
Congratulations
Thanks bro! This was a tough one to figure out! But in retrospect i think that if i’ve kept flooding no less then 3 times a day for half an hour, it would have gone smooth from the git. I was tricked by the water that remains on the floor thinking there was plenty.
Glad you figured it out ! We all knew you would. Too smart not too !
Hope I figure out my issue , lol
So in a month or two we should be seeing some nice buds can’t wait
Thanks bro!
The plants seem to like the addition of extra Calmag that i gave them yesterday. The Ec was 1.2 before adding and afterwards it was 1.6 and the pH is 6.2.
Howdy folks.
I was planing on switching to a direct 12/12 method and decided now is the perfect time to start! So transplanted the plants from the crates to smaller pots. It is inspired by @tamimes his method. The idea is to add rooted cuttings basically until the table is full. The fresh cutting are added right on the table and left will be the cuts that are flowering. Since this is my first time all the plants have had veg naturally which they won’t get when the lamp is on 12/12. I am now increasing the watts to 300 or 400, then i’ll take cuttings and then i will flip. Perhaps i will keep a few as moms, i will decide later.
Looking well hamme they start to eat now. Very high on calmag 0.4 ec i normally max 0.2 of calgreen for me maybe plants benefit from a calmag spray for quicker absorption? I like how you always experiment trial and error makes the most knowledgeable growers!
Thanks @Snydgrow i never spray plants, so i cannot say if they benefit from it. In my opinion whatever they need is in the tank and if not i add it!
Yes trial and error is a very good school and normally there is a lot of info and/or grows to find about a certain medium. But not with the clay pebbles, there is very little info to find. And the info that is available did not work for me.
So i had to find out a lot on my own, which took me a very long time. I never worked with a medium that demands watering so often, but i am seeing more and more the benefits of that.
We have all benifited from your hard work and persistence : )
Lookin forward to seeing them in full flower mode when they drinking like it’s last orders in the bar : )
Glad to hear that my friend and i have benefited so much from you all too. If i didn’t read all your grow journals these past years, it would have taken me way longer with the clay pebbles. Frankly, growing on them is basically the same as mapito. The only difference is you have to flood much more often. This is essential because the medium lacks retention. Flooding five times a day is needed and even every hour is not unheard of.
