Handguns and firearms talk

The 30 cal carbine is a underwood war surplus . Great brush gun light weight

For my next rifle, I’m thinking of adding a lever action, something like a 45-70 :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:.

Now thats a short coupled brush gun, big government cartridge back in the day.
Don’t think I’d want a scope on that badboy.

They may flip out but still perfectly legal. Not real smart as it’s begging to get stolen.

Nope, no thoughts of any optics, might go with ghost sites over the traditional dovetail but that’s it. Brush busting and bear/Sasquatch defense :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:.

We really need a “laugh react” it helps let people know you think THEY are the joke… fuggin snowflakes

Tell that to someone who doesn’t understand how that works and they may believe you. For a coil to send out the high voltage spark the ground gets removed to collapse the field and allow discharge

You dont know how many supposedly “ase certified techs” i have had to explain the theory behind secondary and primary ignition systems on vehicles and i still walked away knowing they had no clue what the fuck they were doing. Lol. God damn parts changers.

This may apply to other models as well…It’s the modular part, where you are able to change calibers.
And that may not have much bearing…

Here’s the problem.
I was cleaning it, as it was given to me by my uncle who got sick.
When I first got it, the thing was filthy as hell. Later learned by by the gun range that they did the cleanings for him.
I said it must have been a while because this thing is nasty AF.
Anyways…

After three hours of scrubbing I said to hell with it and attempted to reassemble.
Whilst cleaning it, I remember two differ actions, it sounds like it’s cocked.
I’m not familiar with it to say what will happen if I just try to pull the trigger.
Didn’t want to screw up anything.
It’s just not going to work until it is released.

The take down pin can’t go through the hole. On the second action, it moved forward by a few mm’s.

I didn’t plan on removing the “gun” part, or that is what Sig considers the gun…You’d have to know what I’m referring to or this doesn’t make any since.

Hopefully I was clear on that…
Can provide pics if needed. Thx!

Probably gonna have to remove and realign the modular frame(the gun part). You can do that with a vinyl hammer and pin pusher.

It’s not so much that sig considers that part the gun, thats all the ATF, on most pistols the whole lower frame is the firearm. All that’s probably about to change given the recent p80 raid. Kinda glad my ghost glock got lost in an accident.
