Depends on the state. In ohio, i can sell my guns to private individuals with no paperwork involved. So, I sold all mine.
we got the same thing here and yeah mine all sold as well
Guns? What guns? I donât think I lost them in a boating accident is gonna work for me lol. The ATF had already investigated me once, be real hard to explain how I lost a dozen ARs lol canât say I sold them or get nailed for being in the business of without a FFL since I bought them all as striped lowers.
They can try and take them but it wonât end well for either party. Never been one to just lay down ever.
Right on bro. You and millions more of us.
Thatâs what Iâm talking, we donât even lay down to sleep.
FBI Agents: Write that down, Write that down!
Sorry for the late reply, Iâve been sick so I havenât been online at all. Thx for the suggestions @EugeneDebs420 @Tejas
Iâll take a look at that video.
I removed the modular part, just cuz of the screw up.
Whilst cleaning I do remember hearing two differ actions, hours apart though.
The second action caused it to slide forward a bit.
Itâs probably just cocked and not being familiar with it didnât want to mess anything up by pulling the trigger.
On a side note, I discovered something on my Sphinx. If you pull the trigger maybe 1/4 back the âhammerâ moves back out of the gun. The only reason this might be a advantage is, you can are able to cock it with your thumb and possibly go straight to 4 lbs instead of the initial 10 lbs.
Not sure if it was designed to do that or not.?.
If so I canât think of a worse way to do it, lol. Just due to the safety concerns and allâŚ
Should have named this thread âsnowflakeâ bait".
Finally finished the upgrades with my new carry. Trigger, sights and grips with about 500 rds though it with no failures.
Shit aside from the shotgun all of mine are built up from 80% lowers. No paperwork, no background check, no government ownership database.
LOVE the grips!
very nice grips, I love them too
I need to find someone with the skills to finish an 80% out.
Check out marine gun builder on YouTube. Itâs surprisingly easy especially if youâre building a glock or AR.
I was trying to find a cash deal on some lowers awhile back. The only thing I could find after a month was a 600 colt. I gave up. I actually did find one since then.
Thanks for the info, Iâll check it out.
Sounds like thatâs the decocked hammer position, which allows for easier cocking to single action with your thumb. Generally youâll get there by using the decocking lever rather than pulling the trigger though.
HummmâŚIâm honestly not sure, not familiar with this pistol and nothing in the manual about it.
Maybe I can try to post a video, not sure if thatâs a option.?.
Or at least some pictures.
I like the option of having the hammer, just easier to use, for me anyways.
I wondered why they even put it onâŚJust thought it was for looks or something. Never found a use for it till I accidentally pulled the trigger back (about 1/4).
But thatâs a incredibly idiotic design if so, not the smartest way to use it, lol!
Thx! Thatâs a excellent video on how to âproperlyâ clean a pistol. I know I sound like beginner and allâŚItâs just been a long time since I had any firearms, twenty yrsish.
And by the way, when did those bore cleaners come out, the solid round slug thing.?.
Yeah yer probably laughing, just been a long time since I used or was around firearms.
I grew up with them and all, had a decent collection at one point, mostly shotguns and rifles.
The only pistols I owned was a pos S&W 40 cal and a very old 38.
The kind where it opens in half to load, it was a revolver my granddad gave me. In fact I canât find ammo for it. At one point I knew what ammo it took but forgot.
Itâs a 38 for sure, just not a 38 special. The rounds are to long, seems like I remember it called a super or something.
Basically a smaller 38 calâŚ
Iâll post some pics of it, maybe someone can spot something on it that I canât.
When the hammer falls on an empty chamber it will be flush with the frame and rather impossible to cock. The hammer position youâre describing is what it will fall to when you use the decocking lever, allowing you to go back to single action if desired by thumbing the hammer back.
If you pull the trigger enough to move the hammer past that catch point, thatâs where it will rest. Simple as that. Nothing specific to the Sphinx even, just how most DA/SA guns with decockers work.
Really, lol!?! Damn I feel dump as shite now, I swear I thought I tried that but I guess not.
Thank you!!!
