Thatā€™s where most of mine came from except

That one still got some work done to it but mainly for precision. I donā€™t think Iā€™ve ever bought a scary black rifle whole before lol

Iā€™m building an ar9 right now. I hear they are really fun to shoot

Pictured is the .308 upper, Iā€™ve rang 6x6 steel at 500 with it. Could probably do better but thatā€™s the longest range anywhere close to me. Havenā€™t taken the 6.5 creedmoore out to play yet. Sheā€™s fun to shoot but not so fun to carry lol it weighs 14.5 lbs unloaded.

My buddy has an ar9. SBR. Thatā€™s fun to shoot couldnā€™t imagine it being much different than the 556 with a 16 in barrel.

Love them not to be fucked with gunsā€¦

Give me a 223. Out to 200 yards and a 7mm mag out to 800. And your toast!

Love my 6.8 with the acog. And the old school Hungarian AK47 ainā€™t bad either.

Looks good, esp the grip! Apparently lots of peps donā€™t care for the Sphinx, something about a CZ rip off or somethingā€¦?

Donā€™t follow it as much as I used toā€¦I do wish they would have made a way to customize it though. For the price you pay, one would think but I donā€™t know.
Didnā€™t buy it so doesnā€™t much matter to me, I probably would have gone a differ route though.

Iā€™d like to be able to put a sight on top but doesnā€™t sound like itā€™s a option. I guess you could put one on the bottom, is there a difference or than not being a site you can look through.?.

It weighs more than the P320, sights are fine but prefer Sigs though. The rear site has dots on the P320, makes it easier for me. But the Sphinx isnā€™t bad, the grip is much better than the Sig.
Personal choice though, I like the finger indent and itā€™s not hard plastic, feels tactile/slightly grippy.
So I usually default to it, feels a lot better than the P320.

Hereā€™s a pic, dirty AF, waiting on suppliesā€¦

You can definitely put a red dot on there if you choose. You can remove the rear sight and use the dove tail with a special plate or get the slide milled.
It looks like p07 clone to me. I bet its a good shooter and comfortable with cz ergonomics.

Big thing is any external laser will be a catch. Thats where guide rod lasers come in. But so does the $300 price tag. If its sitting on a table it dont matter , if its got to get cleanly pulled from belt or holster that laser is a negative.( maybe a hard case holster made for that model with laser.)Then were talking a spaceage box on your hip ,totally unconcealable. Plus on/off switch lasers are trash. Pressure switch if any. on handguns i find factory irons to be best bet. They stay put and dont need batteries.

If im gonna have to defend my life with a firearm i prefer it to be with one that is unmodified. The prosecutor will use anything they can against you if they decide to charge you with a crime. I have heard of cases where prosecutors have used trigger modifications and grip modifications to claim the shooter modified his gun to be more deadly. Its a shame but they will twist the law in many ways. Thats why when im picking out a EDC gun i choose ons that im happy and comfortable with out of the box.

Man everytime I see this thread I get uncomfortable knowing the title is on the front page of this site. Fully support gun owners and their rights, plus free speech to have these conversations, just dont think OG needs the outward attention a thread like this can bring to a site about cannabis. The cannabis firearms combo can be something law enforcement latches onto. IDK, just a sticky situation mixing weed and guns so openly. Would love to see this go as a private thread

Well hopefully soon, with it going federal, it wonā€™t be any more an issue than having or home brewing alcohol. Part of the reason Iā€™ve only posted my EDC.

I wouldnt hold your breath waiting on federal legalisation. Thats a long ways down the road. I doubt the incoming administration will get it done. Nor do i believe its a priority on their agenda.

@Grohio you are absolutely correct. I would never carry a firearm with trigger mods but grip and sight mods ā€œshouldnā€™tā€ be an issue.

Not sure how true it is (or wise), but one person I talked to was told, if he wanted to be as defendable in court as possible, use what your local PD is using.

Its a whole different world for us @newb2.0.

If and when they want ya theyā€™ll let ya know aint no diff in any other state under fed guidelines which they all are.

I think the feds really need to clarify some things in the bill o rights. Right to bare arms for 1ā€¦given that we are guaranteed the right to bare arms (not artillery) how can states have any say in the matter?, particularly with concealed carryā€¦ Also the freedom of the press (whatā€™s the press?), YOU mean the library right? Or you are bound to get sued. Ha

Yeah at first, without using it, I didnā€™t care for it. Just seemed bulky, I guess it was the weight difference compared to a Ruger or Sig P320.
After a few months of not using it, I picked it up one day, after messing with the P320 for a while.
It was a night and day difference, for me.

The grip just fits like a glove and negates any weight differ. If the P320 had a similar grip that would be ideal.

So on the Sphinx, the flashlights, etc that are mounted on the rail under the barrelā€¦Iā€™d like to see if I could put one on it.
A red dot would be nice or a combo would be better but not looking to mill it though.

Any suggestions as far as brands for under the barrel flashlights and or red dot?
Thx!

Heard of them, but not familiar with what they areā€¦Yeah deff not looking to spend $300 on one. From looking around for the P320 there seems to be a crap load of differ options for mounting a light or whatever on the rail.
