Handguns and firearms talk

Yeah I get it as the two are Federally illegal atm. But one thread in a forum shouldn’t warrant much undue attention. Unless ppl start posting their Mark-19’s, lol! :sunglasses:

Well I just read up on the update on 50bmg uppers, not discontinued, but need to be processed through an FFL dealer as a firearm. Got me concerned a while back when I read about the atf having issues with the uppers being sold. Now I feel better since I have one lol.

Disappointed I didn’t see many wheel guns in here.

So I got all excited today. Walked into Sportsman’s warehouse and found a box of 200 rounds of 9mm luger. Took them home, opened up the box, and it’s filled with effin 10mm rounds!

Guess I’m gonna have to buy a 10mm gun now lol! :joy:

Everyone should own a 1911 chambered in 10mm. Lol

It’s not hard if you have a decent drill press and the jig. My oldest and I have been building more before someone gets the idea to close the 80% option.

Yeah ammo is crazy now. Even reloading is more expensive then new brass cased rounds should be. They want 50+¢ per case in bulk for unprimered brass. Then add powder primer projectile reloading is about $1 a round now. And reloading equip sold out too. Crazy thing is a lot of ppl buying this stuff up will never use it. Theyll sell it or report it stolen a lot of it will end up on the streets in the wrong hands.

I don’t think I’ve touched off my 50 since the ammo shortage began…

Primers are sold out all across the country. So, unless someone is already stocked up on primers they aint reloading shit.

Wonder how much the vid had to do with this
Boats are to be sky-high

Thank a certain party for a 2 dime jump on gas already, fuckers.

50 bmg ammo is still readily available and the prices dont seem to have been effected by the ammo shortage. A lot less demand for it then the more popular rounds.

Big thing is its all a waste. If someone needs more than 100rds in an all shit hit the fan situation theyre probably just going to forfiet them to the man who uses 2rds to off them.

That it is. Expensive and the weapons that take it are multiple thousands of dollars if you can get one. Thats why.

Yeah I’m a gun lover. My ex wife lost my carry when we got me a new carry. It was an XDm 4.25 in .45 acp. Then we split up and she took all the guns and that one is still lost. So moving forward I will be building instead of buying.

I like my guns like I like my camp fire stories, ghostly. Right now I’m looking at building a 1911, in .45, but that’s a temporary thing, I’ll buy the parts needed to upgrade it to a .454 Casull. Maybe I’ll do that with my second build.

As for other stuff, I love the M14, Mossberg for shot guns, Marlin for levers, Ruger for anything else, although Springfield has a special place in my heart. At some point I’ll get a new XDm 5.25 in .45, and one of their Saints.

So yeah, I love guns, and got opinions on all of them.

Not a waste in my opinion. I shoot for pleasure.
