Tried staying away but here is what im saying. Side by side. These run on the same ar lower just need the heavier buffer to not have feed and extraction issues on the larger round.
9mm needs to come back down to pre covid prices shits ridiculous.
Ok, that is effin awesome! I think this is outta my league, but what a kick ass idea. Thanks for posting!
It is not covid…it was Biden that influenced a gun and ammunition buying frenzy…which led to the shortage.
5.45x39?
Just winging it out there
Not gonna do politics but facts are the surge in sales started before covid n way before biden
The facts are that no other presidents besides Obama and Briben have spurred such a wave of gun and ammunition sales.
That is one of the truest statements I’ve heard.
Munitions company were under contract from the US, nothing was to be let out until the government had theirs.
Not exactly true pretty heavy drop for a 4 year period on smith and wesson. With a convenient hard down turn and hard return
Facts are all the sales spikes are related ro bs issues in the usa. The nfac didnt go arm an army and threaten war cause biden was gonna be president.
And when they stomped streets everywhere and the police put thier tail between thier legs n let them destroy cities to appease the crowds , america armed itself to not become easy prey. Im back to hiding from this thread before it turns to a political chit storm. Not supposed to be politics on here pretty sure. Grow plants build guns live life happily ever after.
So I ordered a Tikka T3 CTR, 24" barrel, chambered in 6.5 cm. Not super fancy by any means, but hopefully it will be a good starter rifle for long-ish shooting.
762 and 556?
A 250 will rip a coyote in half if hit in the right spot
Maybe not in half, but things get misty.
No actually in half, have hit them.in the neck and tore their head off.
Have hit them in the spine also few ligaments still holding 2 halves together.
Go up to that Kel Tec XI 300 win mag you won’t be disappointed.
Of course you’ll want a tripod for it thou.
Imagine being a door dash driver and dropping food off only to see a mustachioed shirtless man smoking a blunt with a pistol tucked in his waist using a fuzzy boa to dance with his kitty cats.
Very nice. 6.5 CM is an excellent cartridge. Let us know how it works out for you.
Have you had the opportunity to work ‘traditional’ rifle marksmanship? Familiar with NPOA? If not, consider attending a 1 or 2 day Appleseed. This is the time of year for that stuff. They primarily use 22lr at short distance on scaled military qualification targets but it all translates up. You’ll learn a whole lot about the mechanics of precision (under pressure) by repetition and guidance for a variety of positions including off-hand … which can be a challenge for a heavy rifle until one understands the best way(s) to utilize a sling.
It may sound corny but the before/after results will simply amaze yourself (and your buddies that may not have done such prep). Well worth it if you haven’t gone through something like that before. Even if you’ve been shooting for awhile. And it’s inexpensive other than the ammo. Any age.
Almost $12 to load an AK magazine…talk about feeling RAGE…
