Looks like DoD contracts are caught up.
Haha…I just won a cz 712 g2 12g shotgun yesterday from a gun raffle ticket
I want to get a subcompact pistol, glock 19s kinda a pain in the ass to carry in the summer especially when all your pants, shorts and belts are to big.
Just wish 80% frames were still easy to source. I prefer the government not know what I have.
Check rockey brass and midwayusa. One of em had all the frames on sale for 109.
…why do they make/sell guns look like toys??
Nice, I got my g19 kit from midway.
It doesn’t, just an aftermarket magazine release and I think that’s an extension.
What I used
Nice, they were out of stock forever after covid hit. I lucked out and got mine from midway but it was like $150 more for the kit than everyone else(everyone else was out of stock)
Hi-points get a bad rap, they suck sure, they’re not fun to shoot, not very accurate(accurate enough at typical defensive range) but they’re cheap and poor people also need to defend themselves.
A bullet coming out of a shitty hi-point will kill you just as dead as out a fancy ass race gun. The best weapon is the one you can get to fastest.
@saxo i added the orange parts. The glock 43 is a very thin single stack which makes it super comfortable to carry but only holds 6 rds. That is a plus 2 mag extension and aluminum extended mag release.
Glocks mag release buttons are very flush and difficult for my big hands.
Cause we’re all just big kids?
Its fun to personalize you firearm while making upgrades. Most upgrades come in lots of options so why not? Lego for adults
Shouldn’t it be “why do they make/sell toys that look like real guns?”
Interesting thread. Until a couple years ago I shot IDPA, USPSA and 3gun/Multigun. Multigun I ran Open class and its a blast. Easy to tie up 5 grand just in 3 gun on a nice JP rifle, handgun, and choice of shotgun and I used as I said a open class mag fed shotguns. Dont even start looking at reciepts for glass, pmags, holsters, mag carriers and on and on. Reloaded thousands and thousands of rounds and PowderVally was bookmarked for primers and power. I have not lit off a primer in a couple years. Funny how a passionate hobby can one day be something your just not interested in anymore. Still have my gear but all those years my guns never killed anyone. Never ever did it while high or drinking of course.
As far as pretty guns I will chime in and it may not be a popular opinion. I DONT think there should be any ORANGE parts like this out of common sense. I say that because most training guns are orange or have orange tips on barrels etc. I did have extended mags for USPSA use STI 40 cal pistols that were blue and weighted to drop free quickly but thats my opinion. Its legal but maybe but I would not. I dont need guns that look pretty. I wouldnt ever own a safe queen. I have dumped 2K Wilson 45 cal pistols and expensive rifles in dump barrels in match use. I dont care how pretty they are if they dont run like a sewing machine.
I still have the empty tubs the South African surplus battle packs came in. $200 for 1340 rounds I think. Stuff smelled like cat piss and was kind of dirty but it was the shit. NATO spec. I also bought Hirtenberger 308, the best ammo the Germans made for the 308. I was going for high dollar due to demand before it ran out. I bought Guatamalan surplus made on US made equipment that Winchester (?) installed paid for by the US and just sat until it was shipped by the pallets to the US for surplus sales. Those were the days.
I got a couple for a rainy day put away and prints for finishing them. Had a jig fixture but sold it to a friend.
10mm is one of the most effective pistol rounds on bears. Russian special forces use them against polar bears
