Handguns and firearms talk

When you go to purchase a firearm, the form (federal form) clearly asks if you use are addicted to, regardless of your state law. Its at this point you have to make a choice. It is clear that federal law says, you cannot purchase and use. Lying is a federal felony.

I subscribe to the train of thought that the ultimate authority is the constitution. The 2nd ammendment gives me the right to keep and bear arms. Thus, these other laws the government passed, unconstitutional.

I understand this a little differently when it comes to career criminals. 1 felony doesn’t make you a career criminal either.

It is pretty cool as well that my state passsed a law saying that it is illegal for anyone to bar someone from buying or possessing firearms, or denies them a concealed carry permit on the basis of them having a prescription to marijuana.

And yes, it obviously much safer for someone smoking pot to have a gun in their hand, than someone who is drunk. It’s not even debatable. Not that I advocate messing with firearms in an altered state. Safety first.

Marijuana is not addictive :exploding_head: i also find it funny that in pa you need a canceled carry permit but open carry is 100% legal. I can walk down the street with it out for everyone to see just can’t hide it

That’s why my state got rid of that stupid requirement, if your legally able to purchase a sidearm, you can carry it concealed or not. I tell customers to conceal it and not draw attention. If they want the attention, they should be doing something else.

I picked up ten boxes of primers at an estate auction last summer. Who would have thought a $27 box of primers would be selling for $100! I might have to start trading primers for seeds.

I hope i never have to shoot someone in the face. For the last year this gang of people have been doing everything, including setting me up, lieing to police and have me arrested so they can steal my property. I keep winning most battles, the last 3 or 4 weeks have been real scary for me. They started threatening me to leave and give them my home or else. I just dont go around waiting to shoot some one. But when its their nuts or mine, imma walk away with mine, aint nobody going to TAKE my place without the proper amount of cash, or blood spilling. I was just trying to get some help so i can live to grow another day. And the Police are the ones that told me to handle it, that theres nothing they could do. Its over, i thought i was doing a pm. @nube, watch this please . About a week ago.
What would you do?. He threatened my Life. I hope it just goes away. No killing!

You know the old saying, “There’s an App for that” (well maybe not so old) well "“There a weapon for that” It’s called an AR. As long as you don’t live in a place like the PRofK, as I do, you can have mags with as many rounds as you want, it’s easier to aim than a pistol or shotgun, and easier for almost anyone to shoot, and you don’t even need to spray, avoiding collateral damage. All that, and you can even usually get one for cheaper than a decent pistol. What’s not to like?

Someone showed me a pistol the other day that shot a small rifle round. I thought it was pretty badass. High end gun too, wish I could remember what it was.

That’s it! It has to have more velocity coming from a necked cartridge.
There was a gentleman selling used grow equipment that kept one around for protection. I did point out to him that he needed to have it in his person for maximum benefit.
