Me too!
When I saw this on GLG I was like I gotta try these out.
Itcsays they’re not fully tested so… anything could happen really…I’ll be keeping a very close eye on them. I really hope they’re not hermie prone.
I was gonna do 12/12 from seed, but I’m gonna give them 24/0 till they need a transplant outta the starter pots, (usually a week or so) then 18/6 for a week after transplant, to get over any shock and then flip to 12/12.
This seed addiction got me right by the boo boo
Made another GLG order last night…
After this, I’m done buying seeds.
I know what ya’ll are thinking, but I mean it, this time…
Was going through my stash and offered up a deal to one of my buddies.
Told him I need to thin out the collection once again.
I got 57 full packs for $5 bucks each or take them all and I’ll throw in a bunch of half packs and freebies for $225
I messaged him on Facebook, he goes on there about once a week, not sure if he even grows anymore, but thought I’d offer them up to him incase he does. He has an edible business that keeps him pretty busy.
Trust me, you’re better off there, we got a dictator here in Canada, that’s under investigation right now for funneling 400 million of tax payer money into a bunch of his family owned companies. He shut down parliment for a week because he refused to had over the incriminating documents. So now finally the RCMP are getting involved…
Maybe this latest scandle of his will actually stick…unlike the dozen others he skated with…
Sorry… don’t mean to get all political… but Trudeau has sigle handedly ruined our once great country and even thinking about him makes my blood boil.
Im in Canada if this help out. I like you have so many seeds because i OG and the seed obsession have to make sure i get seeds out to all my family and friends and I have a couple doner yards Im able to grow in this coming up summer season
So this is my plan with the
OG Bubble Gum x Strawbannana Cream…
Since this is the 1st round of growing it, I’m really just looking for the best female, but if (and hopefully) I do find a male, I will hit a few branches of each female.
If more than one male, I will mix the pollen and hit the braches.
I will take clones from each, and keep the best as a mom (if anything is worth keeping),
Then do a run of the clones and hit one with the sts and make some fem seeds.
If I don’t find anything that is worth the trouble, then I’ll scrap this project and on to the next one.
The reason for this, is because I can’t keep year round moms. So I’m trying to find a couple strains I really like and self them so I don’t have to waste time and space on males at the start of grow year, and get on a bud run right off the hop of something I know I like.
The quicker zi can get a good bud run done, the more time I can play around on other things.
Haven’t been using my ph meter… tried to calibrate it today, but I think it’s been dried out for too long. Used 7.0 and the 4.0 ph solutions after cleaning the probe, and it was giving me crazy readings. My tap water would go from 10.0 to 5.4… so ordered an AC Infinity ph meter off Amazon. Half price of my Bluelab one.
The others have these very pale biege leafs, usually after you help thier helmets off they open up and turn green within a few hours, a day at the latest. (In my experiences)
I gave them a helping hand 7ish o’clock yesterday morning and look exactly the same as they did.
I bought these beans quite awhile ago, maybe 5 or 6 years ago.
Never grew it, but traded 5 of them to someone.
Finally figured I’d pull the trigger on them.
I really hope I get these to pop good for me.
With the Headband x Hashplant seedlings, I’m pretty sure that was my fault…
I think the humidity in the dome is too high, because I see water droplets on the leafs, then I take the humidity dome off and come back and the leafs turn black.
Same thing just happened with the 2nd batch of BG x SBC.
Never had this problem before…
Gonna start opening the vents on the dome, little by little so they acclimate.
I bet it’s quite a shock to them coming from 100 rh to 45 rh. Which is what my average rh is here. It’s hard to get humidity up.
That’s the only reason I can think of, that they’re doing this.
That or I should just leave all the helmets alone, maybe I’m taking them off to early?
Maybe I should just let them do their thing.
I just hate the look of those gimpy leafs when the helmet gets stuck on them, they look all wonky.
i never remove them myself, i just let the seedlings do their own thing, and i figure if they don’t make it then they were never strong enough to begin with. but don’t take my advice, i’m honestly not much of a grower. also i don’t use humidity domes, just with clones i think.
