Plants in general don’t like LEDs, it has nothing to do with growing under HIDs before.
By your logic, they shouldn’t grow good under HIDs also as they grew for thousands of years under the sun…
The sun and HIDs share the same common principles of light making, LEDs create light in a chemical way, emitting harmful radiation that hurt living tissues. HIDs work in the magnetic realm like the sun, that’s why plants, animals and humans prefer HIDs.
Most of the seeds people buy from him are the TK or Chem lines, which are known to be the most finicky plants after haze varieties.
Anyway, the burnt tips are part of the Mg def in this case but its easy to think its burning due to overfeeding, it’s not.

Can you provide a link to led being harmful to plants and humans? First I have heard that. Interesting.

Grew the D and 91 under the Sun last season. Variegation disappeared and there was no rusting. Planning to grow CSI outside in SIPs.
Seen something like that about LED in another thread. Maybe the flower under MH one. Links or its reptilian gold thieves.
Peace

It’s not conclusive, as LEDs exist in all forms and in all outputs, it’s hard to draw a definitive answer if they all fall into the same category of let’s say very high level or extreme level or even low or mid, does it correlate with the power draw or it’s inherited (the min level of radiation each watt makes)… so many questions…
But they all emitt high levels from the get go, that we know according to infinite people who checked them with meters, it’s all over the interwebs.
When we say high levels we compare it to HIDs, CFL, etc
We can go deeper and show the larger scales and graphs of radiation and each segment and it’s appropriate connection to the harm it makes
Science claims it has no effect whatsoever, in reality we can see it’s clearly not the case.
I dunno looks like she likes the LEDs just fine to me.

Could you lead me to a one of these infinite people that you are referencing with a direct link as a am having trouble finding any info, thanks. Only thing I have found is blue light from white led being bad for circadian rhythm. I use white phosphor converted LED and if I am hurting myself I would like to be informed but like I said I can’t find anything anywhere.
As far as lights are concerned I have used them all and still use them all in different scenarios. What I have noticed is they alll bring out different expressions of the same plant after doing a couple years of side by sides with a buddy. some cultivars do better under HID and some do better under LED, some do better outdoor. All can produce amazing cannabis. But yea, I’m just looking for concrete evidence to back the claims that LED grow lights harm plant an animal tissues.
Here are a couple pics f some LED grown plants that were definitely loving the light
Anyway, sorry for derailing.

Lovely plants and anyone spreading misinformation ab LEDs harming plant tissues or whatever nonsense this guy is promoting obviously lacks the experience and knowledge that most cannabis growers pick up rather quickly. I’ve used HID LED CFL and pretty much any artificial light to grow weed but noticed plenty of anti LED folks around here believing it’s not possible to produce quality flowers and just shake my head.

It is possible, nobody is denying that.
Is it healthy for you and your plants ?
No, that’s a fact.
Again, some LEDs will show better results than others as this field is not researched enough to draw firm conclusions on which ones emitt destructive levels and the ones that are more forgiving.
Some may be emitting more, some less.
I don’t have all the info on every model and power draw, but experiments show that even at 1-2w led lamps emitt harmful levels.
Logic dictate that more powerful setups will emitt more, but that’s just logic, it can be flawed.
Step away from the official science, the same science that told you masks were efficient, claims that microwave radiation does not harm you
If you have any brain you would understand they are lying.
They own the science, so they can say whatever they want.
Lucky for us, a 5$ EMF meter can show their lies very fast and cheap.
Most cannabis growers have no knowledge or wisdom when it comes to light sources, no.
HIDs and CFLs are not artificial lights, they use the same principles of the sun to create light, so they are not harmful.
LEDs use a different process, a chemical one, a reaction between metals.
Anyway, the dangers of LEDs are well researched and documented for those who do have a brain to see and evaluate.
