Run my bag’s after every harvest. Just trim and larf I do not feel like trimming. I actually prefer water extracted “Bubble Hash” to about any other concentrate. The natural taste, the more natural weed like high, and it’s incredible smell. I keep the 73 and the 45 I believe it is. When I run it “soft” like in the hash below, it will be full melt. Not “dome” melt, but full melt.

I will take some of it, not much anymore as I am getting sick of it, and press it on my lil High Five manual rosin press . Makes just outstanding "root beer " rosin that tastes amazing. The high however, like all super high THC concentrates is weird, and to be honest I prefer the Bubble much more. I press it into this to impress friends I guess…lol

Well I’m impressed. The only rosin I have made was with a hair iron and like the taste a lot. Isn’t quite the clarity of yours for sure.

I would love to know more about your process of making the full melt bubble. It looks beautiful. Got anything you could point me to?

I have a little rosin press (Dabpress dp-bj3t33) that I run 1/2oz at a time and makes delicious product. But I’ve always wanted to try full melt bubble.

Here is about 1/2 oz of bubble hash. I’ll let the moisture even out and then press it.

I just do normal water extraction. 200 grams at a time, in a Bubble Now Machine, run it 6-8 minutes. Run through Bubble Bags,
Trick is COLD water, less tumble time…then a good 4-10 day dry.

Thanks. Nice to know you can still use a machine and get full melt. Colder water, faster wash, and smallest micron, GOT IT!

hash with rosin drip on leading edge.

I pre pressed about 5 grams of bubble hash, squished it in my press at 70* C, and ended up with 2.5 grams of a shatter like product. It’s quite a bit dark due to the age of the trim though.

super yum. So hash or fresh- ish flower? go hot or cold press i actually have opinions after three years of squishing pucks with no scientific recording/measuring equipment. just these juggled thoughts. I got emperical evidence that shows my methods improving considering i backed into this by squishig my hash a bit hotter after a recommendation by an old salt named Q. My t-press started expressing rosin at about 230F and it was all a blur after that ha ha.

Bubble hash from aged trim (9-12 months), then that was pre-pressed, then placed into a 37u bag. Pressed that at 70°C (about 160°F) for about three to five minutes. Yielded about 50% return.

EDIT: I have since cleaned up that dirty scale.

Tropaya full met hash. Tastes like sweet fruit and sweet citrus bred by oni seeds. And that’s not rosin that’s just the hash finger pressed in the parchment. Some of the meltiest I’ve grown.

I’m really interested in this new jar tek method of making “jams” and solvent-less rosin carts. A few people on instagram have been posting (@diet.funk). You basically start with 6* hash, press it into rosin, stick the rosin in a sealed ball jar and cook in the oven around 220F until it separates, then place it on a heat mat for extended period of time (several days). In many cases the end product is a “jam” where THCA falls out of solution into a mixture of crystals and sauce.

In some cases they have stabilized the rosin so it does not separate after cooling and can load it straight into a cart.

I’d love to know more about this tech if anyone has any info. I think the main difference is the starting material, working with 6* hash instead of flower.
