Thank you, i am going to chop up the next batch, that is once i am not soar =)
I think its almost ready.
That’s my high point of my day! WOW
I love that!
Cheers

Its not @JoeCrowe level, but my last few batches turned out amazing…
oo are the shiny balls 90 micron? Shelf dried?
70 micron, just air dried after I gathered. They were sooooo white when I pulled out of the water and it has slowly changed to this semi-translucent amber color. They all just melt if I touch them. Its honestly hard to get some to smoke without making a mess… God I love it.
Question, I have 1 cbd plant, have you run cbd bubble hash? Any differences?
no idea, I have a 1:1 plant coming up “harlequin” that has me super curious. I’m a THC man, but I’ll dabble!
I’m under a week from harvesting a cherry wine cbd, thats why I was curious.
I have 4 cbg plants started too, I’ve heard the trichomes tactily are different. More sandy, less waxy/oily.
ooo interesting, I assign sandy texture to garbage hash, now I’m super curious! I would study the crap out of it lol!
Amazing work!
Hybrid Dry ice/water hash experiment
I was doing an experiment today. I had a ton of trim from previous grows to process, so I ran it all with dry ice directly into water. 160um bag for dry ice. Then I proceeded to clean it after that. The first picture is shake shake shake into the bucket. I threw a couple small pieces of dry ice into the bucket for cool effect. The water had a lot of coloration, darker brown initially, then progressively more green and then clear by the time I was done cleaning it in the bubble bags.
You can see in the 2nd picture how comprehensively the dry ice breaks down the material. After that, several hours of washing through bubble bags and water. Ugh. I was using trim mostly from BlackDak (Afghan) and Lebanese, and caught most of my material in the 90um bag. Interestingly, I had to go back up to the 180um and higher bags and still was catching material. I think realistically, I was running too much hash at once.
Left was the material that separated in 160um+ bags, right is what filtered through to 90um and below. Squoze the water and then microplaned into piles for drying. Pictures of the better stuff (hash balls on the right) after microplaning. The lower grade was noticeably (hash balls on the left) more crumbly and difficult to microplane.
Tomorrow or the next day (depending on dryness), I’ll press each and find out if it was worth all the effort.
Some highlights from my day
Came out nice. The high quality stuff yielded about 4x more per gram than the low quality cut. So I’d say the cleanup step was successful at separation. Was is worth all the extra time
I’m not sure I’ll continue to do it. But I have a new idea… Next time, I think I’ll try running dry ice hash through my tumbler and then run a swish through some water with the 25um screen.
well @JoeCrowe not much to say about that i am gob smacked
lime
The secret is I take the bubble sack and use centripetal acceleration to dry the hash in 30 seconds then I cut it into tiny bits and into the regular freezer for a couple days then put it on a tiny bit of parchment. It’ll melt in contact with the heat of your hand or breath. Then I rip it
ha just found your bubble thread @JoeCrowe gonna read the lot got to make some in a couple of weeks
lime
It’s long but documents my transition from thinking the old hash I made was top notch to realizing I scored 4rth in the contest… then taking it to the next level with freeze dried.
