Hashish auctions?

I’m just curious about what you guys think of the idea of a global auction for hashish. Maybe something modeled after the auctions for fine and rare wines. A place where anyone could submit their handiwork and the superior craftsmanship would reap the higher price. Would it work? any obvious problems ? All thoughts and opinions are welcome.

edit- This is a hypothetical idea for the future of legalization. To be clear I am not now nor anytime soon selling hash or other products. This is simply a mental exercise.

I love the idea and hope to see it some day. As the world leans to legalization I believe it could be a reality some day.

It depends where you are. Here I fire up some hash and people look at me like I’m smoking crack. It’s making inroads but the uninitiated still don’t know.

That said a long aged pressed hash is a thing of beauty I might even consider paying money for.

Maybe work better in Europe with a bigger hash culture.

Just spitballing.

Technically, this could already be a thing in the US, just nobody has built it.

My instant reaction to your post was one of incredulity, because of the obvious reasons.

However, after thinking about it…as long as your hash “tested,” properly, you could be doing this “market,” already, via the US Farm Bill.

Anyway, i, personally, would love to be part of a hash club lol

I wish this were the case but with very few exceptions all the hash I’ve run into has been shit.

You’re not wrong. I know a person with a fridge full of wax bought via the farm bill from another state.

Hash club would be cool.

@Foreigner I’ve never had bad hash. But all of my experience has been what I’ve made or what my buddy has made so if it’s bad I’ve never had good hash and that’s ok too.

If I’m being really fair my standards are high.

But I also got one that smoked and burned like a tire fire.

But in general, really just not very good. Except if it’s from a hash afficionado.

Be careful in Europe when smoking hash.I guess cutting it with Tobacco is perfectly fine but if you roll a joint with Flower and put hash in it and they see you do that they Will give you a dirty look at first them someone will walk up to you and tell you We dont smoke like that here thats something The Junkies here do.So i guess mixing Hash with a Completely addictive adulterant is more Morally exceptable??

I tried to smoke the tobacco mixed with the hash and it was disgusting.The High was very Racey and Dizzying and not very pleasant Now that i think about it the Hash was kind gross too it was all crumbly and waxy The tobacco they used reminded me of cuban cigarettes you might as well be smoking cigar filler leaf Harsh Spicey and gross.i went back to my immoral Joints and didnt mind being branded a barbarian

I was thinking very small amounts for a very exclusive group. Maybe sold through a high end place like Christie’s but allowing anyone to submit hash for auction. Do you think the cream would rise to the top ? What would a working model look like?

I would bid on Pakistani hash from their markets. If there was a way to make that happen someday it would be a dream come true.
