Hashtree Grows indoors

Thanks for the input @Mr.Sparkle. I’ve been afraid to wander from the HLG recommended drivers because I tried two
lpv-60-24 because they are much cheaper than the lpf-60-24. Neither worked and I couldn’t understand why. The boards just blinked.
I’ll give that driver a shot. Looks like it’s dimmable as well as being less expensive

going to try some manifold techniques here

Looking good! Maybe more root than string now!

Ya there just razor blade slits smallest gap possible so my guess is their pretty healthy I don’t dare pull the root ball out now it would rip them off for sure !

Down side to the A series drivers though is the io screw is most likely on the back, as typically one would get the AB driver where you attach a potentiometer to it, but for the 24v ones looks like just a series are the option, but mind you set it and forget it, or mount it so it can be accessible

As for the lpv vs lpf, gonna guess it may be cause the lpv would of pegged its output right at or maybe just over 24v being constant voltage driver, and if that was the case that would of put the chips at a bit over 3v individually where they would of been trying to pull over 300ma per chip, effectively causing the driver to be overloaded and may trip into an overload protection for it, or at least my guess, but yeah for the qb120’s they should need between 21-24v depending on how much current you run, and the ldv would of over pegged the current

Ran outta likes on your thread lol.
Glad I stumbled upon this great thread today.
Was a great read and loved watching the selfing unfold. Congrats on the successful s1’s!!

You got quite a line up going on now and love the flood and drain setup.
How are you liking the new quantum board?

Thanks @HaRdRoC! Making the S1s was fun, but I’ve been reading along about the silver nitrate injections and it sounds so much simpler.
The quantum board is great. So cool and efficient but the best for me is working under a normal spectrum. Coming from HPS and burple it’s so nice to see what’s going on without taking them out of the room.

The ones I ran I was impressed with the potency and flavor. The picture I saw of yours it didn’t seem to be so dark red. I was wondering if you found a different pheno. I’m anxious to hear how it turns out. How’s the smell?

Yes it does, I’m watching that very closely as well.
Just waiting on more info, from more people before I try it.

I totally hear ya there, with the hps an blurple, so hard to see and shitty for pics

Same here. I want to see how it pans out before I start explaining to the wife why I need to order hypodermic needles and syringes.lol

Not really berry or sharp just kinda dank. I didnt know what to expect. It threw a beautiful fade. It contracted rust spots on it. I brought it out of it. It been strictly on 12/12 for a bit now.

I still have a few seeds left from them. Ill run them in larger pots next time. Later bud.

Arg. starting to get a small swarm of these, look like fungus gnats to me.

Not really sure what the best way to deal with these buggers in my setup. Flood and drain with solo cups of coco. Tops stay bone dry so I didn’t think I’d have a problem. I guess Its time to cut back on the water frequency but it will be a fine line with the solos. I’m running 2x day for a couple minutes.
I read something about using hydrogen peroxide/water 1:4, what do you OGers think?
I’m probably about 7 weeks into flower.

On closer inspection I think I narrowed it down to one plant that just hasn’t taken off and stays wet. The bigger ones are almost bone dry before the flood cycle. I think I’ll pull the straggler and leave the others be and see what happens.

This seems to me the downfall of flood and drain. They all get there same amount whether they like it or not.

This should take care of them. :+1::seedling:

I got rid of that wet bottom straggler a couple days and the gnats are pretty much gone. I should have done that months ago but I have a hard time throwing them out. I don’t think I have any worries with these girls left in the cab. They get pretty dry between floods.
