Congratulations @HeadyBearAdventures! Good work brother! Life is change, and it sounds like you will be helping change a lot of lives, I am super excited for your having succeeded in opening the door to changing your life for the better

Hahaha! I’m glad you joined me! I’m super excited for the Fruity Nepali sativa!!
The CC thing sucks, but I guess cash is still king.

Thank you my friend. There’s a book I love called Parable of the Sower it’s a dystopian future fiction, and one of the themes is “god is change; shape change”.

Okay let’s take a look at what’s going on.
All the plants are growing, and some are beginning to show preflowers. I’m doing 2 days of 12/12 starting tonight, then returning to 16/8 until they see. Males will be left in their pots so I can practice cloning, females will be placed in their final 5 gallons and given a few more days of veg before flipping to flower.
Overview:

Vietnam Bomb is vigorous af; the most aggressive growth in the tent. They gave the least fucks about the transplant over watering.

This one has stayed petite, with really lovely rounded leaves. Slow grower, but unique morphology compared to the others.

Next up, the Oaxacan. The over watering reeeaaallly slowed them down, and they haven’t put on much new growth. Leaves are unfurling though, so I’m confident they’ll recover. Too much brake @Upstate?:bear:

The AgHaze x Sow are taking things in stride

And the BD X AH are looking much healthier, save 1, which is being petulant still from their mistreatment.

And finally, the Oaxacan in the flower tent at +2 weeks and +1week

They’re getting 1.25 cups of water every other day, using a cheap sprayer with a bubble diffuser.
Phlizon light is at 36 inches and 50% intensity, HLG Rspec is at 36 inches and 30% intensity.
Clones haven’t rooted yet but it’s been less than a week.

Heady the Oaxacan like to dry out between waterings. They don’t like wet feet.

That’s still from the over watering 2 weeks ago!

I always think those plant trainers are pretty cool mostly because I don’t use them. Looking good.

My first time, so I’m only slightly more advanced than you

How are you liking them? I kind I’d enjoy the tying twine, it just suits me.

It’s less fussy imo. I spent the whole Trainwreck cycle tying, adjusting, re-tying; I didn’t like my placement on one plant from yesterday, so this morning, I just slid it off, and put it somewhere else.
So far I’m a fan

That’s cool. I think I’ll always be a twine guy just because I’m set in my ways but I could see how they have merit.

Lol I’m not set in anything, I haven’t even dialed in my tents yet!

Shit I still need to get a new light let alone dialing it in.

I’ve got a solid grip on my 2x2 though

I have a bunch and I’ve been using them less. Usually as a temp bend if I don’t have the time to run some wire for a few days.

As a heads up if you do use them make sure you remove them from branches when they start to get beefy or you may get a choke situation.

Excellent advice. I used to toy with bonsai, so I’m familiar with the dangers of “cutting in”; I got clips with a nice wide channel, but even still I’ll pull them once the stem shape has hardened off.

Yoooo! Those were gone so fast! Now we gotta repro them!

4 days later…

Watermelon Hashplant F2, Hollywood Pure Kush “es cut” x Late 70’s bag seed, and 2 Baddawg freebies! The only way to beat that deal ($2.50 a bean!) is to make a bigger order @Great_lakes_Genetics … which I almost did, but then I sobered up and checked my bank account.
Also, shout out on the ultra-discrete (several layers of protection), ultra protective packaging practices.
Oh and @Pigeonman the seeds are teensy!

If GLG stops by and has more info about the Stray freebie, Id love to know more. The Strayfox HPK is supposed to be great, but I don’t find info about the es cut, nor the nature of the bag seed. I’m so curious!
