So I have a Super Silver Haze in my garden that’s looking in pretty good health overall but from the beginning I’ve had this on the leaves. The leaves haven’t crispened or fallen off. I haven’t fed the plant, just chucked bone meal etc around the stalk. The dog does like to run out and piss on it when he can. Any ideas?
Looks to me like a lack of K
Yeah definitely potassium, and maybe magnesium too.
Hit with nitrogen.
I would go for Magnesium, with K normally the borders are scorched …
Added M & K will get ya fixed up
The dog takes care of that …
If you have nettles around, topdress with them.
Got to agree with George on this one.
Many times mag deficiency is caused by low PH so you may want to check and make sure you have the proper PH or added Magnesium will have no effect on the problem…….
Many thanks for the replies. The plant itself is sitting in the middle of a lawn, it’s also under a tree span. It gets six hours direct sun.
As I say it hasn’t been fed much, it just got on with growing and it’s now six foot plus.
I don’t know how I can check PH and since it hasn’t been given any salts I’m not sure how to feed it what it needs.
Some Epsom salt will fix you up. You can foliar feed for quick results. Looks like MG issue, but even if you do nothing, you’ll be OK
The plant is transitioning to flower, and needs more MG than it used to need.
Seafood compost is a great topdressing for mg.
That was my thought also
Well, @upstate and @G-paS were correct.
I pruned the worst affected leafs away, foliage sprayed Epsom and top-dressed some seaweed. Then more LITFA.
A thing of Beauty!
Sweet! Got her looking good now🤗. Looks like some really nice flowers forming for you. Nice work.
Just to let you know, got that Package, Bro. SUPER THANKS!! SS/BW…mister
