I’m having what seems like k problems that I just can’t figure out. I’m running flood and drain hydro in hydroton like I have for the last 6 years. Tap water is 150ppm and 7.2 p. Im flooding for 4 minutes every 3 hours. The Ph is kept between 5.5-6.5 (i even replaced my apera ph60 probe thinking i was having ph issues but wasnt the issue. Running under 400 watts of samsung lm301b leds. It really seems like a k deficiency but can’t seem to straighten it out and it’s starting to drive me crazy. I’ve never had this issue in the 6 years running this way and nothing has changed. Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED! Thanks alot for looking and have a great Sunday!!
Definitely a K deficiency. Possibly being locked out by too much Ca. What nutrients are you using?
I would try wet and dry cycles instead and see if they respond, clear some stones and look at the root health, good luck…
I’m was using jacks 321 recipe with haifa cal prime instead of regular calnit. I also had the gh flora series left over and even the plants on that are showing issues. I’ve been running this same setup for 6 years using city tap which is 160ppm and about 7.2 ph. I started noticing this the last couple runs and it’s just gotten worse. I initially thought I was having ph issues and even replaced the probe on my apera ph60. I usually run around 1 - 1.2 ec in veg and 1.3 -1.6 in flower. I check ph daily and it stays pretty stable between 5.8 to 6.2. I’m starting to wonder if something in my tap water may have changed. Idk but im hoping that with help from overgrow I can get back on track.
