This was what I bought last year, still on the first out of 4 bags… I’ve got over 1000 gallons of soil and that’s easily a 5 year supply

I’m a huge fan of langbeinite/sulpomag/kmag. Sulphur Potassium and magnesium in one natural product. The stuff I get is water soluble so can be used as a top dress if needed.

The only spaghum peat moss I can get is this white stuff. I see everyone with dark coloured stuff but I can’t get it anymore…

When you are talking about baking, is this a reference to fresh manure?

Baking or cooking soil is basically mixing your soil together with all the amendments, moistening and letting it sit for 30-60 days to let the microbes break down the soil nutrients so they are available to the plant and so they don’t burn them. Organics needs to be chelated (broken down) so the nutrients are readily available for the plants.

Hope this helps

I’ve got you! I also have seen and used the term baking because I have access to fresh free horse manure but I bake it for a while at 170 to kill off all the bad stuff and it makes it very useful and available quickly.
