Help on several strains at same time

So I was planning a bit on next grow. First one i did was all the same strain. It would be fun to do multiple ones. What’s the issues and thing to think of? Any strains that works better than others?

I assume they need to be about the same timeframe in growth rate and environmental preferences.

Try to choose things that will stretch relatively equally. A little variation is ok but I like a uniform canopy.

I run multiple strains quite regularly and they often need different things which can be a challenge especially when they’re small.

I’ve got an F2 I want to work with but they are a mix of heavy sativas and heavy indicas the variation out of that single pack might be too much already even.

Best of luck.

I do it all the time but keep in mind with multiple LEDs in the grow tent so you can adjust for each plant…a single light changes things but normally just boost up one of the plants or train as needed. Honestly try not to worry about perfection too much. The more you grow it’s really about producing good flower so obsessing over laser guided canopies and worrying whether a single cola is slightly above the other kind of tiring.

I put one plant in flower each week. There are nine 3 gallon pots under the light that is hanging as high as possible in the flower room. I harvest one plant a week after it spends 9 weeks in flower. In 23 years of working on the grow I have run many different strains. Same ripening time is the most important consideration in my room.

That’s really cool. I have a 9 pots system that shares the same tank so can’t do that however I am planning on eventually getting two or three of the same system so I could have a few weeks between them then.

But a later issue  thanks for the replies

This would be a problem for me. I’ve got too many plants in containers that are too small and they are all screaming for something different. This one is overwatered this one is under watered this one needs nitrogen this one needs PK this one is losing all its fan leaves for some reason.

Usually such extremes don’t happen and I don’t doubt the small pots are potentially to blame and maybe I’m a control freak but I need to be able to tailor feeds which I avoid except in this particular situation.

Best of luck.

Watering would definitely be a problem as you described. The nine 3 gallon pots dry at different rates so I have to water individual plants as needed.

Some days are busier than others.

As soon as I uppot which will be very soon all these problems will go away.

I’ve been known to just put a glug of water into a pot because I’ll just be watering them all tomorrow anyway. It’s not always that easy though.

Different finishing times for each plant is something to be prepared for :+1::+1:
