I’ve been speaking with @DatDamDog for a little while now. If anyone deserves help from the community it’s this guy. He spent a week in rescue and 4 weeks on recovery when 9/11 was happening. This is a man that risked his own life to help those he didn’t even know. And he’s suffering the consequences of those actions now. And like many of us. In times of struggle has found growing a good release. I know what that release means to me and I’m perfectly healthy and able.

Anyways. After failing lights and poor customer service elsewhere I thought I’d try my luck on his behalf. He’s running a 2x2ft tent and needs a good light to run in there. Good lights we can do between us definitely. I’ve already offered to send an old meizhi driver 140-180v 660-710ma output. But I can’t help feeling this man deserves more.

Anyone game to chip in to get him rocking nicely

I was in primary school and got sent home to watch these people. Sat there all day with the news on. Even in England

The sonoff stuff isn’t a light bro. It’s to control environment and plug sockets. I’ll show you the way. I got a thread up for that too :wink:

How big are we looking at for a light? May be able to contribute some things, I’m all for karmic refreshers especially when it’s deserved.

I always presume people can build. But it’s not a good trait so we should probably ask the man himself. If he’s handy then it may be feasible to build his own. If not so much then I’m sure we can work it between us. To have a unit built stateside and shipped to plug and play.

Hey @anon58740919 I’m down to help the man. If you need someone to build I am pretty handy and have tons of soldering and wiring tools from when I built and installed slot car tracks. Cash is a bit tight but I got some beans and ability I’m willing to put in for the man.
