I wish I could do that with the sun. I think that is the best for them. Gives it more of a natural taste anyway. I grow regs so time isn’t the problem.
These were just seeds I got from ILGM, I did things how I do my vegetables lol what I think they want, by no way what the pros do. I mean to start, I planned on growing 1 auto entirely in an aerogarden, entirely out of my comfort zone!! I don’t even know the aerogarden. Treating them like a habanero plant from seed has really seemed to do well. Yours look great also!! Have you had first harvest yet? I won’t have mine for a few weeks!

I’m getting ready soon. Still got 4 weeks or so. I did a grow here earlier and then I’m on ILGM also. I have some old stuff over there. Some of my home made stuff. Autos I don’t do.
That’s the thing some plants are just like what you’re doing you’re talking about growing peppers peppers are kind of hard to grow. Especially if you start to overwater them. The trick for me is to know the weight of my pot or container when I start noticing the top of my dirt getting real light brown my leaves start to get a little saggy I know it’s time to water them. If my colors in my leaves are getting dark then I know I need to give them water. To me this is like growing corn. You want your leaves to stand up say hello light I want more of you. Awesome. I have not grown corn, just lots of peppers, made hybrids, some tomatoes, flowers, herbs, my biggest feat was having a flowering pepper, I pruned, moved inside, flowered again next season, and it made allll kinds of weird peppers from what it was pollenated with. So Luckily, I know the cons of pollenating, how delicate it needs to be if you’re being choosy.

Here’s the thing though, I can only take autos out for the sun and give then the light change up that I do, only because I was told they are autos and I believed it (luckily seems true) but soon, not the case and I will be having to take a quick, but harsh winter into effect. Also another reason I am limited to 4. I have tremendous space outside, about an acre cleared in the back, shed, privacy, but I don’t feel physically capable of building something elaborate on my own outside. I do have a spare room in my garage that could hold 2, could probably hold 2 in my closet even with allllll my clothes and shoes but my 4 plant grow tent…
In my bedroom, with the trust that no random grown up goes into another’s bedroom in their own home lol

. The smaller girls will be moving into a tent soon. I’ll transfer into 3gallon containers this week or so. I don’t what them to high right now. Getting ready for a flush. For the money the bp 4000 is a good light. No heat with fan on top. No burning of the hand. HLG will burn you. All of them will if you don’t keep a fan on them.

Just set up some tents. Just been growing in a couple rooms and outdoors. Tents are a bit different for me.
