Hey @Heritagefarms
I just popped some Soma Lavander and some Pineapple Platinum from you. Problem is I screwed up marking them from the paper towel.

The three on the left are the same and the four on the fight are the same. But which could be which? I know if I wait Iā€™ll find out but Iā€™m curious to know.

Excellent choice of seeds @GreenBhoy Iā€™ve grown both and they were awesome. Have a great Grow. :sunglasses:

Iā€™m going to guess the ones on the right are the lavender but there is really no telling for sure until they get bigger and start to flower. The lavender tend to be rather uniform looking plants and the smell profile is very unique and easy to pick out. That generation of Platinum Pineapple has thrown everything from pineapple smelling plants to electric metal smells. The lavender fade with pretty colors and some of the plants get purple nugs , there is no purple in the pineapple and they fade yellow fast in flower.
Will be neat to watch these grow up :+1:

How long does the Lavender go? I grew two last year outside but wasnā€™t able to feed them properly after I broke my leg. They were large plants and yielded well, but I didnā€™t get any terps at all really. Almost just grass. I got to thinking that maybe it goes longer. I had to harvest everything in mid October and had so much that I could hardly think straight. I was just doing my best to get them all down and in bags.

@GMan
The Soma lavender is a combination of 3 different strains, mine went 7 weeks of flowering to finish indoor with purple leaf tips. It can present itself differently for each plant. Smelled like hint of spicy lavender and tasted like afghan. Out of 3 females, 1 had heavy CBD content and other 2 didnā€™t have a detectable amount of CBD.

TERPENE
Dominant
Caryophyllene (pepper)

Myrcene (herbal)

Pinene (pine)

Thanks bro. I wasnā€™t able to feed them anything special in those critical weeks of flower because of my leg. I just threw a bunch of Roots Bloom food in the dirt under all of my plants and called it good. It had too much nitrogen to use till the end though. Iā€™d say that was my main problem. Iā€™ll give them another try. :v:
