Week 4 Flower and these Babies are getting hair in funny places and some Stank comin outa this tent…The Purple Unicorn in the Middle is Frosting up killer…And Frankenstein on the end is getting some great flower sites amongst those bushy stems…Rose Thunder is on the left…Thanks @Pixie65 and @JohnnyPotseed

Hey mate…im using a soil, perlite,coco,vermiculite mix sounds a lil weird …but i had the vermiculite and perlite mix and then tried coco with the soil to make it lighter and seems a good mix

Im back using ISN nutrients…plants are loving it…i only do small grows…but i find the ISN Range so relatable to what the plants need…whilst there are a few bottles i know exactly what each one is there for

@Astro80 It’s great you found nutes that work for you and that you can relate too. I am a grower who started out using FoxFarm nutes, then I went to Gaia green, now i am using Jack’s Fertilizer and i am loving it. plants look amazing. using Jack’s is a lot easier for me to control and the plants are the ultimate proof. I am not familiar with your ISN brand but i think it might be a brand that a guy from another site i was on was using and he was from Aussie land, and he had some killer grows.

Hey there @Astro80 welcome to OG, clearly you have friends on the site already. Glad to have you in the community. Plants are looking good. Have you considered using stakes rather than the scrog net? I personally find it easier to work with the plants in a tent when they are able to be moved, but that is just me.

Well looks like it’s working bro. I hadn’t heard of ISN , Australian made too I see- I’ll check it out. I’m just starting my first coco grow and trying another Australian brand out, Biomega. I’m in West Oz, look forward to seeing the rest of your grow!

I’m not an Aussie, but I do rock Australian LED’s, and bought my first cannabis seeds, from Australia, around 2002ish, from The Penguin, Seeds From The Igloo.
Still to this day, some of the most potent weed I ever grew out, RIP Penguin!!

Hey brother yes i agree its a double edged sword…lol I Guess ive found scrog the easiest way to spread out my plants and keep the top of my grow low enough to not get to stressed from my leds…but yes i cringe at harvest knowing how many trichromes i may be damaging trying to negotiate the buds back through…im wondering wether solid plastic or wooden trelis at the front and back of the grow and stakes against the plants may be a better option

I understand your concerns about not using the trellis netting, but I assure you, there are ways to manitain size and shape without the net. Here are a couple shots of how I have gone about doing that.
A single plant staked out to maintain size and shape.
Or how it looks with a tent full of staked plants.
Maybe this will help give some ideas about how to maintain size and shape without the trellis.
