High humidity for 12 hours. Am I screwed?

Hello everyone. So, I shut my vent fan off last night and forgot to turn it back on. Humidity was at 91 for probably about 12 hours. I’m 3 days away from chopping probably close to 10 zips of 707 OG Kush. Am I screwed?

I’d up air exchange and make sure air is flowing through the canopy really well and check for any sign of mold forming.

My humidity has been in the low 30’s for the past month of flowering. I guess that doesn’t matter though really. I did up the air exchange once I seen the hygrometer.

They’re going to be fine. Just keep the humidity low and they will dry out. 12 hours isn’t that long

I doubt it’s going to be an issue.

Three days ahead of chop? Honestly, if you find any bud rot then my opinion is it means the rot was probably there before this happened. Especially since it’s going to be dried right after being cut down.

Thanks guys. You made me feel a little better lol!

Humidity has been super low all through flowering and there was no signs of anything before hand. Obviously I can’t tell what’s going on deep inside the bud but, everything’s been going really good this run.

First of all, I think you’ll be pretty okay. I just want to clear up something, bud rot, or botrytis is a genus of fungus that we particularly look out for, but it is not the only harmful fungus that can grow in those conditions. It is always a good idea to inspect the flower with a microscopic lens, to be sure. Some of it looks similar to trichomes from a normal viewing perspective, but the mycelium can be unmistakable under magnification.

Got any photos? Normally I would say 12 hours isn’t enough but during late flower buds are highly susceptible to mold

I’ll take some when I get home from work.

I’d say you’re fine. I once went on vacation late flower and my fan crapped out while I was gone. I came back to a tent where the inside was covered in moisture. Like it took a roll of paper towels to wipe down the walls.

I can’t say how long it was broken but I’d bet it was more than 12 hours and no big deal. Just an “oh shit” moment.
