LFTD seeds have exclusive strains from H&L that I haven’t seen anywhere else. I have not purchased from them previously.

I recently picked up H&L’s Hellbender (TK x Mango Haze) through JBC Seeds. Looking forward to my first run of beans from this breeder!
I also received a “Mountain Mix” freebie with the order. Looks like those are random Appalachia F3 crosses…

Currently cutting down one of the Appalachias and it traded it’s chem scent for a floral old lady’s perfume (the one that didn’t want you to gag at church) with a hint of lime.
Edit: as i’m working through it some more to hang it also has a gummy bear peach/pineapple smell. If it was just that + the lime and no old lady perfume it’d be perfect.
Edit 2:
Here’s the Alter Latcha. It isn’t the densest or frostiest of the three but the general shape is chef’s kiss. It could’ve been better as my feeding and pH was off. I’ll be going through the rest of the packs later on to explore it a bit more.
They were all cut about 3 weeks early as I needed the space.

Taste has so far gone from
Wet weed + slight fruit
still slight fruit but gas as well & wet weed
more gas than fruit but still muted everything
Vanilla + gas
Gas + chem
Effects wise
It can be strong in the sense of getting you the basic effects you want mental wise. Anything more complex like a haze or psychedelic upper high are not found in this run as it definitely got stunted by me. Effects and aroma are 10% of a lion’s milk I ran.
Initially lasts about 2-4 hours now it’s about 1-2 on all phenos. All three are about the same with the hermie Appalachia lasting a bit longer but with a more basic high. There is about 0 stone effects as they were cut early.

@Acro not sure if I mentioned this to you already, but tres dawg is a bx2. The tres makes people think 3, but double dawg was a bx1

As promised here’s a pic of one of the Appalachia lower nugs lightly trimmed and dried.
Shame it was stunted the calyxes would’ve easily gone past those sugar leaves if I didn’t mess up the amount of nutrient levels.
Taste on all of them is about the same with gas on the inhale/exhale.
The Hi-chew smell/flavor has turned into a rambutan smell but doesn’t appear when smoking.

recently finished a few electric mango, breaking haze, and angel band… really digging them all especially the b haze, i wish i had jumped on the am haze now as those hazes seemed to blend well. i found a few bananas in the seed plants of the b haze but they were really late and i heard the dogshit carries that tendency (someone mentioned)… the angel band had a really sweet fuel ive seen in other headband type stuff, will find out in the cure if it translates well to flavor

I have packs of that and good ole’ mountain dew, I’ll be growing one of those next year.

Dogshit has a few other names you might like a little more. Electric boogaloo, puck or skelly hashplant. All the same plant.
