High male ratio

hey guys, thanks for all the input. I hope i remember all questions:

it was a regular pack of des*tar bx by dynasty purchased at sannie’s when it came out. I put 5 seeds to germinate and got 4 females and the male. with male pollen I dusted the above mentioned cuts. since then the seeds spend their time in th fridge with many others. through out the time since making the seeds I grew several always male.

I grew different crosses with all those cuts but those made with the des*tar male turn out to have those high male ratio. other crosses are ‘normal’ like around 60-70% female. a friend just recently tried two crosses and all came out male.

my environments changes with the seasons but not to bad conditions. I mean its a bit dry in that room but that doesn’t disturb other strains (all kinds - purchased, pollen chucks, bagseed and so on) I really believe it’s the male and what he gave to the females.

I read somewhere that it’s possible to get higher female ratio by putting seeds in a bag with a ripe Apple and close it for some days. the ripening gas is responsible, I forgot the name though, ethylene or something like that.

I think maybe I’ll do a 12/12 run in solocups with 25 seeds or so just to see if it was just bad luck within this tries.

i appreciate all the discussion!
