Seriously??? I like a good conspiracy theory now and again but, “Holy Shight” This is borderline medication diagnostic here for reals No? I’ve been reading High Times since I was 15yrs old & I’m an Old School Grower who’s never Grown for Profit or anyone but myself in my 40yrs of doing so. I’ve read and have more Books on Growing Digital & in Print My Collection of High Times Mags is one of my most Prized Possessions to be sure. I can grab my iPad and look up anything about Growing Cannabis Period. Also the Knowledge I’ve acquired from High Times is Sincerely Immeasurable to say the least so the cost of my HIGH TIMES Collection was a pittance when the Knowledge & Skills I’ve Acquired from them are weighed in.

Bro. Dm me. I have a seed collection that is insane. I actualy have an amazing cross AND THIS GOES TO ANY OTHER GROWERS HERE . I crossed a bunch of strains and I’m testing em anyone interested hit me up. I’ve got a girl scout cookies x sour tangi to die for , maple leaf x bd that’s an indica and produces amazingly and has a 45 day flower. Pinnaple chunk x sour tangi and x maple leaf x black domina. And about 70 or so more. Regular feminized etc etc.

Hey @Herbie what’s up buddy. Yeah Im using the 30 gallon brute trash barrels…5 airstones. Under one 1000 watt hps lamp …dwc. man nothing grows like dwc…I’m now dying to get an even bigger barrel and do one of these outside. Teenagers will lugh it away in the middle of the night though. They got me last year. I’m sure they’re just dying to get one again. Last year they got me for a 50 gallon barrel plants. Ha. Little shits worked hard for it though. They waited in my bushes till 530 am Haha. Little turds earned it …hope they enjoyed premature bud and powdery mildew. Hahah.

Hey @Numbnutts, I thought it was DWC the way to go for the monsters.
I did a plant in Holland decades ago DWC and we used a fibreglass pond buried into the ground as the base container with a 120 litre / minute air pump and 10 air stones connected. It grew naturally in the sun from spring to autumn.
Sorry to hear about the overly active gnomes that ran off withy our plant, may be some paint ball claymores with trip wires in the bushes for this year

Hahah. I was so thinking theither same thing with the pain balls. If I could a pored hot liquid metal on em at the gate I would have. Lmao. Nah they’re kids. I personally wouldn’t be stealing anyone’s plant but I get it. I knew being in a city they’d last all of a few weeks. They lasted all the way to one month from being done and HOLY SHIT. DID YOU SAY A POND IN THE SUN ? OMG that thing must have been amazing. Hey since we’re on dwc conversation. Flushing these things. Should I just be using plain water. Let the plant go deficient like they do when they finish. 2 days ago my ppm was 2800. Yesterday I got it to 480 which is my water from my filtered hose set up. Should I be using clearex or anything that helps flush ? Thanks buddy.

Filtered water that sounds nice, the water in Holland is terrible, when we did that one we just used plain water because of the amount, size of the resevoir. We needed a well pump/ sump pump to drain it and refilled using the hose pipe for temp we had some 300w fish tank heaters in there. We were using powdered nutrient then (Oh think man)…the company or brand was called ecolizer from memory, you dissolved the powder into the water to make the nutrient solution. The top of the pond was covered with standard timber decking and covered with visquene on both the top and the under side to keep the temps down and light out. For the basket we used a plastic bucket with lots of holes drilled into it and filled with canna clay pebbeles, we watered from the top for the start until roots were coming through the bottom, then it was time to turn on the air blower and it got its juice from the bottom.
I think the flushes are only beneficial if you want to use the medium again, they work faster than just plain water at helping the plants use the last bit of food it has in its leaves branches and flowers, but if you have the time just plain water is fine as far as I know. You can let the plain water gothrough tthe full ph range to make sure the plant uses everything up, starting at 5.5 and letting it runup to 6.5 for our final flush we hit it at neutral ph 7.0 for a couple of days, and yeah all the leaves start to turn yellow and red etc and some fall off. Its just allowing the plant to develope or convert the last bits for sugar conversion and taste.

Glad you realized your favourite mag is calling you a nobody LOL Light-hearted here dude but if ya did some research 'numbnutts assertions are widespread and not stoner fantasy. Anyhow I started this thread, and as I said before, I still buy the Mag mostly for news and personal interest stories and the PORN. You must admit, anyone who (post internet) has learned to grow cannabis (by whatever method) realizes soon after the 3rd annual ‘best of’ issue, that it is a mag for entertainment and beginners, when it comes to cultivation. As for experienced growers (like yourself) there is nothing of value when it comes to growing except for new products which I never use anyway… All magazines exist for their advertising revenue, and thats AOK. I like the pics and the absolutely ridiculous ads claiming 20% increase in yeild, it’s all good. I just don’t like any business that turns their back on what made them so “hip” in the first place. As for keeping it real, its a discussion forum, not the intellectual police, and everyone likes to piss in the stream.

Yeah Bro. I used fox farm soil as it came with cabinet w/ Botanicare N17 line for beginners The 4 White Widows I Grew with said ingredients and soil unfortunately I didn’t know much about flushing but did a decent job
however it knocked me on my ass for reals. Crop King White. Widow Femz.
