Today, I was sitting at the dining room table going through some of my bins of seeds, looking for a few specific strains.
There were piles of tiny labeled ziplock bags everywhere.
My teenage kid comes by, and asks “what’s all this about”
I tell him what I’m looking for, and why. He starts asking questions about a bunch of the packs.
My answers are all like:
- “Oh, these are legendary. I gotta hold on to those!!”
- “That one seemed special a few years ago, now kinda ordinary. I’ll probably never run them. I should give them away”
- “Oh those are on my list to grow next year”
- “Gee, I forgot I had those in here… when will I have time to run these?!”
- “See these, they are in fun custom shaped 3D printed seed pucks. Someone on OG makes these custom pucks! That’s fun!”
Aafter a while listening to me rant about seeds, he goes “So, these are basically Pokémon cards for hippies?”
I almost fell over laughing.
Because it’s so true
