Holy's Garden (Part 1)

Good looking plants here, just reading through your thread. What’s Franco’s Lemon Cheese about? Sounds yummy like lemon cheesecake .

How do you like thoes white grow bags? Any good?

Hey thanks! The Franco’s Lemon Cheese are fem seeds from Green House Seeds, Franco Loja’s last selection before he died, basically his two favorite girls.
Super Lemon Haze x Exodus Cheese

But I guess this is why people say stay away from Greenhouse, I bought 5, I had to try 3 before one even sprouted :joy::sob: I’m trying my last two now and so far I might get one more.

The one I flowered out, and have now reveged from a clone I took 8 weeks into flower smells like lemon cheesecake to me for sure. Coats the mouth with cheesy goodness, high is slightly motivating, no raciness, but a little hazy/foggy.

I hit her with the most haze looking male of the two I got from a pack of NL5Haze x Sensi Star from Mel Frank.

If one of these last two pop I’ll f2 them with STS, or redo my original cross with the new girl and work it out from there.

The grow bags I just got and is my very first time trying them, seem like they might be good tho.

That’s awesome :ok_hand:… Sounds incredible, especially if its actually smelling/tasting like cheesecake. One day maybe we can swap or something. For now I’ll be pulling up a seat someplace near your tent to watch the show

It’s very cool to see lemons and cheese brought together…

By the way, your soil growing is looking great. I really love organic soil grows because I believe it let’s the Cannabis shine through with quality.

Here’s a 5-month cured top, off the Purple MAC I grew

With flash

Smells and tastes like pure burnt rubber

Man, someday I wanna grow Mac, but I’m not at the point of spending thousands for seeds lolol. Looks freaking fantastic

I’m telling you right now, MAC is kinda overrated. It looks amazing, but the high just does not do it for me. I went to Capulator’s dispensary in downtown LA, Peace of Green I think it’s called, about a year and a half ago and got some, presumably grown by Cap himself. It looked amazing, but I wasn’t feeling the way it smoked.

Having said that, a buddy of mine who’s opinion I almost always trust when it comes to weed, loves it. He was the one who took me to Cap’s dispensary, actually. It just didn’t do it for me. I also got a couple of his MAC crosses when we went down there and I liked those much more.

If you’re interested (and you don’t have an issue with Gu), GPS has some MAC x Stardawg beans available. Or they did the last time I checked, anyway, a couple days ago. As much as people give Gu shit, I’m pretty dang impressed with his California Cannons that I have growing right now. Might be worth checking out that MAC cross if you’re really interested.

I dunno, what do you think, @HolyAngel? How’s that Purple MAC smoking?

No I agree with you. I think it’s a bit overrated.

Again, my Purple Mac smells and tastes like nothing but pure burnt rubber, so not exactly appetizing, and the high is kinda meh. It’s potent for sure, but yeah, nothing to write home about… Smoke is smooth at least if you can handle the taste.

It does however help a ton with my wife and I’s back pain which is why I wouldn’t mind having it back. No joke it’s like taking a couple ibuprofen for me. I usually end up mixing it with something motivating for daytime use. It’s good enough by itself for nighttime use…

but I hated growing that plant too

Honestly, I wouldn’t pay anywhere close to $200 for it. But it’s not at all bad.

Looks decent. If it doesn’t grab your attention and shake you…continue on. I grabbed a pack of Gelato33 s1’s the taste isn’t there. Like you said burnt rubber. Shitty taste. It’s just packed with trichs. When was that a bad thing?

The rubber smell though. Sucks. I’ve noticed a bunch of strains in higher potency have a rubber/gassy smell. Maybe the concentration of resin. Idk? That’s looking great but if it doesn’t :heavy_check_mark: all your boxes. Fuuuck it.:v:

Little piece of Gelato after it’s cure. Flavorless fire should be it’s name.

Finally learning that an S1 isn’t the same as the real deal? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Day 61 NL5HSS #5

Bit potassium starved :slightly_frowning_face: but trying to get her through for the last few weeks here. She’s swelling and stacking at this point, trichomes still clear with some clouds.

I don’t want the burnt rubber pheno!

No definitely not but you usually will get in the realm of the mother it came from not introducing any other dna . That could be better or worse. Dna is a crap shoot though you could also get some odd ressesive gene not seen in many generations.
I personally love s1 and feminized crosses.

It’s not the worst by any means, the herb is good. but yeah if you find any other pheno in that pack, that would probably be preferable to what I got :joy:

Maybe I’ll get the one that smells like a old boot
. Some do smell weird though . Very pungent and foul. I have a purple urkle s1 that smells like sweet garlic . I like smelling it for some reason.
I’m on the search for a catpiss pheno . I have catpiss x tk and cat piss x snow going . Here’s to foul pheno types . If your on the east coast happy new years.

 I would sure hope not, smells are supposed to range from “spicy citrus to earthy floral”… Though that makes me wonder where the burnt rubber comes in at exactly

Those spots on the leaves…I had to come look at your pots and make sure they were not the air pots. I suspect those are to do with an unhealthy root system. I have seen it in past rounds that were done in plastic bags but not the air pots. Believing that the roots are getting brown in there when this happens and have seen it at least in coco coir in plastic bags at the end of flower.

Could be, but I don’t think it’s the poly bags as they literally just went into those but they’ve had the variegated spots for the last week. It’d be from being in the solo cups  I haven’t had it happen like this before though on any others so I’d suspect it’s genetic on these…

They’re all only 16 days old as of right now. I didn’t notice any messed up roots on transplant but no doubt could still be an issue inside that I can’t see. May put the last 3 in fabric pots. I do have air pots but I haven’t found a good way to water those without eventually getting it everywhere.

I’m referring to the plant in flower that looks almost ready to harvest  just above in plastic square pot it looks like

Oh, you mean the NL? That’s all one plant, just the 4 mains. I’m pretty sure she’s in a 7 gallon fabric pot, I’d have to double check again tonight. But yeah that’s a good possibility.

I’m pretty sure there’s a potassium issue though as my leaf tips are curling up, getting crispy, edges yellowing and spotting… that and lacking phosphorous too could cause the spots like that

Regardless, I’m going to have to do better next time.
